The Samsung Galaxy M34 to cost the same as its predecessor
The Samsung Galaxy M34 will launch later this week (on Friday) and we already know some of the key specs thanks to this page on Amazon India. One thing you won’t find on that page (not yet!) is the price – but leakster Yogesh Brar claims to know it.
According to the leakster, the M34 will be priced in the ₹18-19,000 range. For reference, the Galaxy M33 was ₹18,000 for a 6/128GB phone when it arrived in April last year.
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 has a different display (6.46” AMOLED vs. 6.6” LCD, both 120Hz FHD+), both use the Exynos 1280 chipset, both have 50MP cameras (M34’s supports OIS) and both have 6,000mAh batteries. With that, the same pricing shouldn’t come as a surprise.
The Galaxy A34 is noticeably pricier, however, ₹31,000 for the base 8/128GB variant. The A-series model will get better software support and a slightly larger 6.6” AMOLED screen but with a smaller 5,000mAh battery, other than that the two phones are not too dissimilar either.
The ₹20,000 price range features competitors from other brands, phones like the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, iQOO Z7s, Realme Narzo 50 Pro, Redmi Note 12 (5G) and others.

My father uses an M series phone. Countless friends and acquaintances use M series phones. No ones had an issue. What you have mentioned are isolated incidents. This isn't widespread.
