Third vivo V30 Lite arrives, this one with 4G and 80W fast charging

A new vivo V30 Lite was announced today in Cambodia. This is the third different smartphone with the same name, following the V30 Lite available in India and Mexico and the one for the Middle East.

This third vivo V30 Lite has the same footprint as the vivo T3 (also known as iQOO Z9). The major differences are the chipset and charging speed.

The vivo V30 Lite comes with a Snapdragon 685 chipset. It is a 6nm platform that is LTE-only and comes with an octa-core CPU – 4x2.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.9 GHz Cortex-A53. At the front is a 6.67” AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resoltuion, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits brightness

There are only two cameras at the back, despite what the design might suggest – 50 MP main and 2 MP depth sensor, while the selfie shooter has 8 MP resolution.

This is the first Lite in vivo's history with 80W charging support, and the company promises 80% of battery charge in 30 minutes. On top of that, the phone comes with a guarantee that the cell will retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 full charging cycles, which is more than 4 years of daily charging.

The V30 Lite boots Funtouch 14 on top of Android 14. Sadly, it lacks a 3.5 mm audio jack and also doesn't have NFC for payments.

vivo V30 Lite in Cambodia

vivo offers the V30 Lite in Crystal Black and Crystal Green colors with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The price listed is KHR 1.2 million, which converts to about $299.

There is also an 8/128 GB version, sold in Russia for RUB24,999, which currently translates to $270.
