T-Mobile US launches iPhone 5 on April 12; 4/4S trade-in avalable

10 April, 2013

T-Mobile USA announced today the pricing and availability of the iPhone 5 for their network. The carrier has kept its uncharacteristic promise to give Apple's latest and greatest with $0 upfront to its loyal iPhone users.

The trade-in offer allows the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S owners to return their old phone and get the new iPhone 5 on a two-year contract without the $99.99 upfront payment. They'll still need to pay the $20 for the phone every month in addition to their $50 (or more) plan tax.

Depending on the condition of the iPhone you are returning you'll get up to a $120 credit, which you can use towards the monthly payments.

T-Mobile USA will launch the iPhone 5 on April 12. It will cost $99.99 upfront (if you are not using the trade-in program) and $20/month in addition to the $50 monthly for the mandatory two-year contract.
