Two Redmi Smart TV X 2022 models were unveiled – 55” and 65” – both with 120 Hz displays and features dedicated to watching sports and gaming, including getting an official recommendation from the Xbox team in China.
The two TVs have HDMI 2.1 ports with support for variable refresh rate (VRR) thanks to FreeSync Premium. Auto Low Latency Mode is also supported, so that the TVs automatically switch to a gaming mode with just 4 ms latency when you hook up a console or PC. If you’re watching video or live TV instead, the footage can be converted to 120 fps by the TV.
The 4K screens support HDR and Dolby Vision. They cover 94% of the DCI-P3 color gmaut and come with good calibration (deltaE around 2). The two smart TVs run MIUI for TV 3.0 on a chipset with four Cortex-A73 cores, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage.
There are two 12.5W speakers built in with Dolby Atmos support. Also, microphones can detect your voice at a distance for voice commands. The two TVs have an all-metal body, including a metal base.
The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 will go on sale on October 31 and will be available in China through Xiaomi’s own stores as well as JD.com. Right now you can drop a few hundred yuan to reserve a spot in line.
The 55” model will sell for CNY 2,700 ($420/€365/₹31,500), while the 65” one will be CNY 3,500 ($550/€470/₹41,00).

Likely VA panel and low viewing angles without color/image distortion, 8bit+FRC, Direct LED, slow OS, low brightness (300 cd/m^2) - in the likeness of Huawei Vision S. May be good as a low budget option for PS5/XBOX gaming due to HDMI 2.1

Problems with these cheap chinese androidtv that boast HDR support usually aren't very bright at all. Also why still no USB 3.0 ? we can't hook up a 2TB+ USB HDD on it
