wtfulefone, 28 Mar 2023guys i keep having a problem with the software , it updates... moreStop using ulephone Armor 18T. It has no updates. The kernel not updating properly. They pushed Armor 19T to markets because this design failure.
System not udating it self. You cant do nothing to it because it is root locked and you cant root it with nordic tools.

Ulephone just released new phone model Armor 19 because they cant get 18T to update kernel afterwards. The 18T using vunerable android version. Highly recommend that you stop using Armor 18!

Please, listen and belive what i am going to say. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! DO NOT BUY Armor 19T It is the same phone with new adroid update. They literally make new phone because ARMOR T18 NOT UPDATE Android Kernel. The security patches of this 18T is from early 2022.
Phone do not make automated or manually forced updates. They are none update.
Imagine using this phone 12 months? There is major Android vunerability with older andoid kernels and Ulephone just dont care. They push new model out of factory. Ulephone Armor 19.
Please do not believe youtube reviews. They are paid and sponsored content from ulephone. I literally paid 800€ from this garbage.
Dont be stupid like i was. Do not buy this phone!

The FLIR thermal camera app is DEINSTALLED during system update. This couldn't be any worse. System update such as this are pure trash.

guys i keep having a problem with the software , it updates but i cant charge my phone using the charger just via USB-PC connection , says security is updated but it isnt , idk wtf is going on with this phone

I have one stupid problem i have Ulefone A... moreI stopped using the original camera application once I discovered it kept adding a watermark to every photo I made and there was no option in the settings to turn it off.
I installed Open Camera and has been using that for taking photos since. It even works better with this phone than with my previous CAT S61 so I can recommend it.

It has "minor bug fixes" in description and size of 50 MB. Release date is 2022-09-05 (!). Last year's September?? Well, we'll see if that will affect the restarts/shutdowns.

Did everyone who did the update do it through their phone (System->check for updates)?
Or did you manually download drivers, flash utility and ROM from Ulefone? If you did, did you lose all your data like a fresh flash or was it like a regular update?

JackBrody, 21 Feb 2023I don't mind the occasional reboots since it is actual... moreOK, so today it happened - the phone shut down during my sleep. But - I have just tried (two times to be sure) what happens when you have an alarm set and the device is off.
Always 3 minutes before the alarm time the phone booted and the alarm successfully started on time. So I guess I won't oversleep. :-)

What concerns me more is that I have already had two silent shutdowns. I hope it does not happen at night when I have an alarm set...

I am consider to buy this phone but ... moreYou have to go and Google power armour 18t updates I did this and my phone stopped crashing and you have to select if you're in the EU the EU one or if you are non-EU country you select the non-EU update it's a big update and it is done a lot of good things to the phone and my phone is running perfectly now I'm even getting better camera shots

I have periodic reboots, sometimes quite often. I mail mainly want to use it as an offline device with mapping programs for hiking, but the reboots are increasingly annoying. I was hoping a update would resolve it, but it is still an issue.
