ntrn, 31 Jan 2023Just do the updates and it works fine. is it still a problem? I am consider to buy this phone but the self rebooting problem pushed me away from it. It is with every phone or is it just a consequence of not updating at the time?

      JackBrody, 23 Jan 2023One thing to add: the phone restarted a couple of times in ... moreI just receive my phone from Amazon UK and it started loop restarts right after setup on 68% battery. I have done the setup by copying from old phone just the apps and contacts. After 10 restarts in one hour I have factory reset it and start fresh. With WiFi,google account and no apps Installed seems that no reset occurred in the first hour. Please post updates about the restart problem.

        One thing to add: the phone restarted a couple of times in my hand. I picked it up and it started rebooting. Could a reboot be caused by position sensors?

          I bought this phone a month ago and so far it looks good. Everything pretty much works, the battery capacity is great, 66W charging is fast as hell (BTW I found out this charger is capable of charging my Thinkpad X395). I wirelessly charge the phone with my Blackview charger and it works great.

          One of my hobbies is mapping for Openstreetmap and a few days back I left my external bluetooth Qstarz 818XT module at home and only went with Ulefone 18t. The tracklog review later at home pleasantly surprised me, the accuracy was comparable to Qstarz given that I usually had my phone on my belt and only sometimes in my hand. If I had it on my hat as I do with my Qstarz it could have been much better (but it's a bit heavy and bulky for this ;-)). I also took photos with the phone (using Opencamera) and later in JOSM I noticed the direction / azimuth was acccurate as well. So this phone is definitely a pretty good tool for Openstreetmap mapper. But I will do more tests.

          As of now the biggest issue I have is with the FM radio that I just started to use. The app does not have a well thought-out design. It decodes RDS but it displays the radio station name only in the notification on the lock screen (!), not in the app. The presets (saved stations) are hidden in settings, I always have to tap two times to get to them. This app definitely deserves some work.

            2 things i could not find anywhere until i got my hands on one.
            1- Fast charging is 11v/6a or 20v/3.25a
            2- Bluetooth audio codecs are SBC/AAC/APTX/APTXHD/LDAC

                            J, 06 Nov 2022What does emitting N41 and N71 mean?In short, that means it supports 5g on TMobile network. Each carrier has 2 that are unique to them in the US market but can be shared as well. If a device only list 1 supported, then it's not fully compatible and no guarantee to work. 5g, if not mistaken, uses one band for upstream traffic and the other for downstream traffic.

                            Att = n5/77
                            Tmo (sprint) = n41/71 (n41)
                            Vrzn = n2/5/66/77

                            This is why att and Verizon 5g phones are compatible on each other's network. A simple search would have gotten you the same info but figured I'd post.
