why does one buy Rolex, Rolls Royce or a 50 mil mention in Hampton? simple because they can afford to. We as a society use our phones for all different wrong reasons it was designed to call and receive text. to understand why one may buy this phone is simple because they have personal drivers and assistance. The driver will drive them to any ware they want without GPS required and assistant will give them all necessary info on stock market news. the only thing left is the nagging wife my as well listen in style her talk crap. why not after all this person can buy his own country why not a phone.

Very Expensive handset so far, in Hong Kong they go for 25 000 US Dollars, so imagine spending that amount.

i just wana say that vertu is a luxury cellphone sub company,they are not only selling cellphones but also style and mark of pride,we can call it rolls royce in the world of cellphones,so dont compare vertu with other companies,after all luxury is luxury and vertu is vertu:)

Some of the comments here are really missing the point, its not about the phones specification, its a toy for the rich and famous. Anyone remember the wood & picket minis or the tickford capri/metro? These was standardish cars, souped up by coach builders and sold for silly amounts of money. I'm not rich and i'm not jealous of those that choose to buy these phones. Got to go now, back to my road sweeping job
