i think this phone doesnt have specifications that i want.... i wld have really gone for iit , if it had a 6 mg camera and a card slot... and a 7 year warrenty along with it....tats y right now i use nokia 6600 which ia a better option....

As a matter of fact you are wrong. Each phone is a collector item. Mine has a golden keypad with a platinum case. Vertu cells do not have a fixed price. It depends what the customer wants. Do a google and see some vertus with real diamonds encased at the corners of the screen. Price is anything. From a few thousands to tens of thousands and even more if you feel like it. Mine was bought as a 20 year wedding anniversary for my wife. I had it made for just over 8000Euro + tax. Is a master piece of perfection. I only take it for special occassions. I have a normal nokia cell for day to day. I am happy to have found this GSM site. Lots and lots of cellphone to chose from. The technology is developing quickly. I wonder where will it all end . . .

Yeah, so when you millionaires (or not so cautious thousand-aires) run into each-other, you'll go, "Hey, wow! We both have Vertu phones!" But then, the other person will say, "Psh. You've only got the $XX,000 model, you rag-clad can-collecting jobless hobo! Stop trying to masquerade as one of us REAL rich people!" And THEN where will your Vertu God be? Probably using an iPhone.
At least you'll get to look at your 5 megapixel photos in LANDSCAPE MODE on your 2 inch screen! AMAZING!!! I can almost tell if Timmy is smiling in this one!
You're gonna use AGPS on that screen, hovering the phone next to your eyeball? I hope your car insurance is at least as expensive as this handset!
And guess what?? You're STILL going to drop it in the toilet, or sit on it, or leave it in a cab! Ka-CHING!
If you want to show us 'normies' that you're super-rich with your cell phone, why not just get a bunch of really cheap-to-mid-price phones and break them in front of people for dramatic effect? And then simper, "Who cares? I'm rich!" and whip out the next phone.
In case you can't tell, I think this phone is dumb.

Yes, it is the very goodest phone. If you have the money, you will want one.
I am fortunate enough to join UMNO, the world's most perfect non racist political party in Malaysia which fights for the rights of Malays, the biggest race in Malaysia. Therefore, using political ties, I got a lot of money. And with this a money, I bought this fantastic Vertu and charged it back to the people I am fighting for.
A real good phone for rich politicians like me. this is the bestest phone!

people who buy these phones just want to show off...just to make them feel that they are really rich, and they want other people to see that they are rich..huh!those people who pretend to be one...ive known a lot of rich people but they are not amazed by the looks nor features of this phones. i also know some people who brags about their vertu and those are yhe people who just pretend to be rich. why buy vertu when you can showoff your bentley or a lamborghini!

I made my fortune in cheese distribution then moved into the manufactoring of cheese based products.

I hope ascent 2010 titanium model will be available soon in my country (expected july) as I understand it is already available in Hong Kong & in limited stocks only. Looking forward buying this one to explore it's new 5mp camera with tons of gb storage.

nice! great specs for a basic phone with big memory to cater photos and videos. Hope they made it more affordable for critics to avail & appreciate rather just commenting.
