vivo confirms August 17 launch date for iQOO 5 with 120W charging
Last week, iQOO unveiled its 120W fast charger, which promised to fill a 4,000 mAh battery in just 15 minutes. Today, iQOO released a new teaser on Weibo, saying that it will be announcing the iQOO 5 on August 17.

The poster teases both “120W” and “15 mins” indicating this is the first smartphone from the company to offer the new charging technology. A new leak from Digital Chat Station last week showed an alleged render of iQOO’s 120W fast-charging smartphone. This could very well be the iQOO 5.

The iQOO 5 is expected to arrive with the high-end Snapdragon 865 chipset, UFS 3.1 storage speeds, and LPDDR5 RAM. We’re also expecting an AMOLED screen with always-on display feature and 120Hz refresh rate.
