Hzzif, 23 Jun 2024Best decision. How's your Neo8 so far? Any complaints?Really good.If I wanna be picky then these are my complaints:

1.No headphone jack since i really need that alot lol

2.I'd wish that this phone is released globally so I can use it with FuntouchOS but if it does then the price will be doubled like wtf 💀💀💀

3.The charger is fast as hell,but because I'm sleeping in a hot bedroom,the phone can heat up to over 40c from just charging it lol.I had to use my fan at the fastest speed possible and then charge my phone right in front if it to blow the heat away from the phone.

I kinda wish that this Green colored phone doesn't have a glossy back like duh,I'm getting sick of glossy finished phones ⚰️.The Black colorway got a frosted/matte finish but I don't want my phone to be black all the time(no racism intended 💀💀💀💀).Maybe the red one is the best but it got a leather back and I'm having trust issues with leather-backed phones cuz they tend to wear up and stuff,so I prefer glass back over leather.

An SD Card slot is not really a need to me now because this 256GB of storage is way more than enough to last me for 3-4 years.

Im not sure about the updates that this phone will receive,but Im expecting it to have 2 years of Android updates(until Android 15)and 3 years of security updates.

Overall,a really good phone with a price/performance ratio that doesn't make any sense.NOT TO MENTION YOU CAN GET A REDMI TURBO 3(also known as Poco F6)FOR ONLY RM1200(the 12/256GB one)and also the IQOO Z9 Turbo for around RM1300 for the same 12/256GB configuration.BOTH PHONES HAVE A SNAPDRAGON 8S GEN 3 BY THE WAY.

        But based on iQOO's history in here, they aren't keen on bringing in the Neo series, and it's the reason why I bought myself the China Neo7 SE. But I know for sure that vivos outside China is kind of a ripoff compared to what China gets. It's not fun knowing our Funtouch Z7 costs just AS MUCH as their better specced Neo7 SE.

        I still have hopes with our vivo with the leaks of iQOO Z9 Turbo (8s Gen 3). If priced well, it could demolish the Xiaomi Poco very easily.

            For instance Indian iQOO Z7 had a Dimensity 920 but ours are Snapdragon 782G. Far superior build with a 120hz display, a lot faster charging speed, bigger battery etc. Best part is price is similar.

                  Concerned about the green lines about the phone's display? That's only coming to the Indian variant, the China variant doesn't have it since it's superior at build quality

                                  I'm using Digi SIM. The 4G coverage is brilliant. I haven't tried 5G, but based on the specs it does support some 5G bands in Malaysia (n78, n28a).

                                      The floating window is one of the reasons to choose Origin over Funtouch. It's very easy to use yet a tonne of app support including YouTube!

                                      Gaming performance is excellent. It's on the Snapdragon 888 level but without being hot like a stove.

                                      Using this software makes Funtouch felt like a scam. It's hundreds of times better.
