with all the complaining i think that companies should remove sd card slot and 3.5mm jack from all lower end budget phones and return sd card slot and 3.5mm jack to high end phones
probably more incentives for people to upgrade to higher end

Type C port is essentially a useable 3.5 jack, its analog so will work exactly the same as a 3.5 jack so why do you need a 3.5 jack still? (most phones come with dongle still)
You obviously haven't heard of Internet radio which has been a thing since the 1990's. Most streaming music services like apple music, Spotify, YouTube, amazon music or just a Web browser will have some form of radio listening aswell so why do you need to plug in a wire to act as an antenna for fm radio?
Boggles the mind people still spouting that nonsense now (didn't realise we were living in 2012 still with 8gb emmc storage phones and barely just getting 4g signal)

In case you don't know, screens on mobile phone exists loooooong before expandable storage made their way to phones. And yet screens still exist, and they get much much better than before. Same with expandable storage. First they use big sd cards, then half sd card, then microsd, then high-speed & high-capacity microsd. They get better and better.
So if you want to use a phone that is not using stone age tech, go find a smartphone with no screen.
You also mentioned mechanical parts will soon be abandoned, while nowadays foldable phones are all the rage in the industry. So please, tell those manufacturers to stop producing foldables.
Sony can cram all the features that people want & need in an actual flagship phone is what you call an innovation. Removing sdcard slot & headphone jack or destroying front screen for the sake of camera and call those as innovations is a lame & sorry excuse for manufacturers's lazyness & greed.

by the way those features are old ancient archaic dark age technology of mobile phones.
Please step from dark age to a modern era.
Noone wants those features now.
Especialy no manufacturers.
More mechanical parts phones have worse they are and more easy they prone to break.
Even a motorized pop up selfie camera gone away and long time not seen on a cell phones and back in 2-3years ago it was a awesome looking feature.
Just like the rotating camera on A80 samsung,

Yep, the bigger the size, the cpu needs more extra power to read or load = high consumption battery, even if technology now more advanced 5nm or whatever

You want all these features, you either buy a cheap low budget phone or a $1500 Sony Xperia.....you want a good, mid-range or flagship then you'll have to sacrifice the sd card slot or the jack....this is apparently "the modern way" which I don't support either, but you can't do anything bout it....the companies won't listen... except Sony
