I love the fact that this phone has great amoled screen. And on extended use, it doesn't overheat like crazy. Samsung is notorious for overheating phones even if not used for gaming.

XLR8R, 13 Dec 2018It's odd, Vivo claims on it's FAQ page that the V11 supports 4G+.The Vivo V11 that I bought from the Philippines supports 4G+ and I routinely see "4G+" on the top left corner of the screen.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2018How did you know it? Any source and official statement? Each and every X series phones gets an Android upgrade or two. V series also got upgraded since the V5 series.
X21 is confirmed to receive Android P (hence the beta), and the V11 Pro is a variant of X21 named X21s. For a product family, the variants will receive similar support - for e.g. X21i/X21s/X21 will all get Android P.
Story is a little more confusing for V11i/V11 (India) because V11i is a rebrand of Z3i and not an X-series phone. Update history for Vivo Z series is yet unknown, but I think it will get Android P too (Z3 and Z3i).

Vivo V11 users in the Philippines, this is for you:
To ensure that your Vivo V11 is working at its optimal LTE frequency, take note of the following:
1. Upgrade your SIM card to an LTE-capable version.
2. Check if your telco has deployed LTE towers in your area. Not all areas are covered by LTE. Urban areas are mostly covered. If you live in a far-flung area, you need to check with your telco.
3. Configure your Vivo V11 mobile network setting to 4G. The unit will automatically connect to the strongest LTE signal it receives
4. Install an app called LTE DISCOVERY from Google Play to check which LTE band is actually in use. This app shows exactly the band and other detailed aspects related to signal strength, cellular tower ID, etc.

Those who have Vivo V11 units like myself can use it with BAND 28 (700mhz). This band works flawlessly using an LTE SIM from GLOBE Telco. I wish there's a way to post screenshots here to show readers that some claims are baseless or fake.
To confirm this band is in use, I use an app called LTE DISCOVERY that can be freely installed in one's phone via Google Play. It shows EXACTLY which band is being used by the phone.
Please, those of you who keep on posting claims that have no basis, maybe it's time to have a real Vivo V11 in your hand (not just empty claims) and then have your SIM checked by your network. NOT ALL SIMS are LTE-ready. You need to upgrade it too, just like what I did.

Traveler, 12 Dec 2018The Vivo V11 has BAND 28 700mhz. I know it because I hav... moreThere is NO such thing as Band 28 700mhz in Vivo handsets. You cannot connect or get LTE-A (4.5G) signal using a Vivo smartphone. You can only connect to basic LTE but NOT LTE-Advanced or 4.5G . That is one of the lacking in Vivo features.... Besides, unlocking a Vivo does nothing to do with having a specific Band and Frequency ^^ So if anyone wants to have or connect to LTE-A (LTE-Advanced or 4.5G), forgot about buying Vivo smartphones.
