This V21 5G which is the higher variant still use waterdrop notch, dimensity 800, must be mediocre camera, and it is also copied the flat side of iphone 12

To improve the quality of selfies clicked in low-light conditions, the front camera has a Dual Selfie Spotlight feature.

Yes, i am a vivo user currently😂 for the past 2.5 years. That's why i want it to improve for i love it alot but some things are just not right. And i will buy vivo v23 or vivo v24 from v20. Meaning if they do what i have asked otherwise i will go for the device that suits me the most. I will see when they adopt these things i have said and i will change my phone in accordance to that. The phone that has all of these things i will switch to instantly for it is my ideal phone. I tend to use a device for a long period of time. That's why i need it to be durable for im a bad user of phone and trust me vivo v20 won't stand my abuse like vivo v9 that i used earlier did. For glass always shatters and the back one on this phone is extremely feeble. I don't like being careful. I have also used vivo v17, vivo v17 pro and vivo v19. The pros camera had amazing zoom capabilities surprising at that time, i want vivo to surprise me again and do something unique and special unlike the competition which does give specs but i want creativity and quality. I do hope I don't break vivo v20, for if i do, it might be the last vivo device i use for i don't use a product twice which fails me. And i really am doubtful about v20 surviving if i use it like i did my phones before. And i don't like cases, what's the use of buying a slim and light phone if you're going to put a case on it and make it thick and heavy. Rather buy a thick and heavy phone that doesn't need one. I would even go with the least spec and cheap phone if i have to, if it passes my durability check. For that's how i use my phone most. Why does everyone make feeble phones? Maybe to earn with repairing. That's why they don't make structurally sound phones so to earn more, and so that people change their phones more. I hate this, this is a monopoly and a fix. Samsung could use sapphire but it doesn't, and so does apple. In a few years they will, and then say what a breakthrough they have made.

Mid-range Samsung devices like the A52, gets quarterly security updates (every 3 months, every month for the S & Note series) for the next 3 years and the "last" 4th year every 6 months. The Android OS updates are on time. The older A51 and some other models, got their Android 11 even 1+ month earlier than usual than officially announced.

Vivo looks more premiun with its design and glass body. Samsung feels bit cheaper and don't get me wrong. Samsung will update the device Software once in two year.don't expect same as their flagships. You are paying for a midranger. So you will get maximum two updates.. In future you are gonna realise that😁.may be security updates you will find atleast.thats all.

nickname optional, 13 May 2021The Galaxy A52(5G) will be still relevant in 4 years, softw... moreYes, see the hardware. A52 has a snapdragon chip which are much better in battery efficiency and the v20 pro had a snapdragon 865g chipset. A52 has 120 hz refresh rate, stereo speakers, ip67, better rear camera and what else is left after this. All i ask Vivo is to up their back cameras as much as they have the front one. Even Vivo v17 pro has a telephoto lens and now they can't have one? Realme 8 pro has an extraordinary sensor of 108mp which is awesome for this class and it is much cheaper and they can't? And it also provides 3 times loss less zoom which would kind of make up for the telephone, kind of, but will do much better than now i would bet. And i would just love an ip rating. 90 hz is fine but atleast give stereo speakers Vivo. And what i would do to have an aluminum frame used in the way i described below. I have used both vivo v17 and v19 and felt that v19s camera was worse rather than being better. They have left the rear camera and taken it for granted. All i ask is to provide stereo speakers, that 108mp good old lens if they can't provide a telephoto, an ip rating would be just awesome but if they can't, it will do. The most important thing for me is the build quality and i ask Vivo to up atleast in that department. There's no phone durable enough today, for these companies have switched to glass instead of metal and even plastic, can't ask to use sapphire in mid-range, it would be stupid and even ceramic. But i would ask that atleast improve as much as you can in the build quality and use a thick sheet of glass. A millimeter thick phone i would take in a heartbeat than a feeble one. If you'll also follow my suggestion about the frame, it would be just awesome and i don't really have a problem with a plastic back as it doesn't break like glass, unless they can get sapphire. Actually, I'm crazy, i want the metal phones back as they are unparalleled in durability. Thank you

It's just a way to try and boast for the manufacturer. Very few people will keep a phone for four years anyway as if you are a heavy user, parts start to fail.

Software updates don't matter. App developers still support as far back as lollipop and some times further back again. Plus, you can get custom ROMs all the time. I have a backup phone which is the Samsung galaxy S5 and it's on lollipop and works for any apps that I want to use. Software updates are a placebo. They d

I agree that it's not only the hardware that's important, but as far as I'm concerned 4 years of promised updates is for SD888 devices, and I'm sure that the midrange A52 and A72 (both 4G and 5G variants) don't have that. This device is just about perfect for the price range in my opinion. And who knows, Vivo might just step up their software support game too given the amount of customization that their skin overlay over Android packs.
