As promised, vivo today added a new member to the V30 lineup, dubbed vivo V30e. The vivo V30e has the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC at the helm with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box, and vivo promises three Android version upgrades and four years of security updates for the phone.

The vivo V30e packs a 6.78" 120Hz FullHD+ curved AMOLED display with 1,300 nits peak brightness and a fingerprint scanner underneath. It also has a centered punch-hole for the 50MP selfie camera with autofocus.

Around the back, the vivo V30e sports a circular camera island housing flash called "Smart Aura Light" and two cameras - 50MP primary (Sony IMX882 with OIS) and 8MP ultrawide (120° FOV). The primary camera and selfie shooter can record 4K videos, while the former "can also double up as a 50mm prime-focal length portrait lens which deploys a lossless-2x zoom-in."

Fueling the entire package is a 5,500 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The rest of the vivo V30e's highlights include an IP64 rating, USB-C, and 5G connectivity.

The vivo V30e comes in Velvet Red and Silk Blue colors with two memory options - 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, priced at INR27,999 ($335/€315) and INR29,999 ($360/€335), respectively. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting May 9 through vivo's official Indian website, Flipkart, and retail stores.
