Hi, anyone has done proper comparison between Honor 200 and Vivo V40?
I'm seriously confused between this 2. Right now these are the prices at my place:
Honor 200 12GB+256GB = USD310
Vivo V40 8GB+256GB = USD350
Which one is the better choice?
From my research so far:
- Honor 200 uses OLED, Vivo V40 uses AMOLED. Is one better than the another?
- Vivo has 5,500 mAH Lithium Ion battery. Honor 200 has 5,200 mAH Silicon Carbon (1st time hearing this) battery. Again, is one better than the other?
- Honor uses UFS3,1.storage & LPDDR5 RAM. Vivo V40 still using UFS2.2 storage & LPDDR4 RAM. Any major difference in these 2?
- UI: Both the MagicOS and FunTouch OS looks cartoonish to me (I'm coming from Motorola). But any notable advantages/features one have over the other?
- Cameras: The Honor has a proper Telephoto camera. And it's using Sony lens while Vivo is using Samsung Isocell sensor, but the specs seems to better on the vivo. Again, which is better for casual point and shoot, especially in night mode??

Just because both phones use UFS 2.2 doesn't mean the V40 is a joke, because the V40 has a better display, cameras, processor, features, battery life, charging speed, and pretty much every other aspect compared to the Redmi 14R.
Also, US $755? The V40 costs PHP 26,999 or US $482 for the 12/256 variant here in the Philippines, get your facts straight.

This needs a correction. The phone definitely supports Wifi up to Wifi 6 (802.11ax) as this is a feature of the modem integrated with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. I can also confirm this via my home Wifi setup.
It should actually support even Wifi 6e since that is the case with the chip, but I personally cannot confirm this.

I Prefer if vivo gives their flagship camara design to v series as well. Also it's better if they give flat display for non pro version, Also it's god to give 8s series chip but 7 is fine.Also rather than improving useless things I like to improve basic main things. Because people expect them in this price range. Specially as they don't globally release xs series these improvements may be perfect 👌👌👌👌👌Love vivo and honor

Better cameras overall, much better chipset, has faster charging and has a much cleaner Magic OS compared to a heavy skin like Funtouch OS. You can get the Honor 200 Pro at a US$440 also you just have to be patient looking for a retailer/seller. SD7 Gen3 and UFS 2.2 is a joke for US$440 just to get that Zeiss branding.
