Can we use memory card with 2 sim.

For price, yes Vivo V5 is little expensive for mid end, the specs are medium, low chipset but offer 4 GB RAM and selfie camera. For my opinion, price of Vivo V5 is still okay. Now if I compare Samsung S6 Edge 64 GB, the production cost is USD 290,45 but the market price is USD799,99, Samsung is more insane takes profit more than USD500. Source: techwalls.com

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2017Hello.. I brought vivo v5 on April 3rd.. It's too cool but... moreNo, my Vivo is 2 months of use now, the charging time I note also the most are more than 2,5 hours fo fully charged. Some are more than 3 hours charging time.

sandy, 18 Apr 2017In V 5 whr is the option to close the AUTO ROTATIONPull up from below screen, slide to left, there will auto rotation lock option.

The charging time is very slow, if you kepp using the phone while is being charged. The charging time can take up to 4 hours more. For normal it is nearly 3 hours or 3 hours more if the phone standby.

That's the lack of Vivo V5.

Manu, 21 Apr 2017Is there any option to increase the darkness of lettersI think no option for making darker fonts. By the way I am OK with the default font.

starboy , 21 Apr 2017can we add two Sims and SD card at the same time? No, the slot SIM card model is hybrid model, so the microSD is also SIM card 2 slot. You could buy Samsung J7 Prime if you would like 2 SIM cards used and microSD used.

What does Vivo think? They will launch any phone and we will buy? The processor they have used is more than 3 years old, you think of gaming? You cannot even play low graphics games for more than 30 minutes. The have just highlited "4 GB RAM" but the technology of RAM is also very old, which is DDR3. 17k for a phone with mediatek processor? Shame on you Vivo. Just the camera is "OK".
There are many phones in 17k like the moto G5 Plus and the G5, and also the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Mi5, they are far superior to Vivo V5.

My Vivo V5 open and play music works fine. Play music by drawing M using finger when the screen is off also works fine.

I have used Vivo V5 for 3 months and i have reviewed some things like:

-Design is Relative, some of you may like it, some not, for me the design of this phone is okay
-Performance is Fair, i don't use it for gaming so it is okay and with big ram it is over for me, fingerprint scanner is the best so far, could unlock on black stand-by screen only for 0.2 seconds
-Screen is Okay, not so good because of HD only, but the colour and contrast is good
-Audio is Good, loudy and hi-fi mode is good
-Battery is Good, like the other phone with 3000 mah, 50% for 8 hours, charging this phone is normal (even using the samsung charger 2A, not having any problem)
-Camera is Bad, although the selling point of Vivo-Oppo's Group is Camera but to be honest (for VIVO V5) is really not worth the price at all; for the front 20 megapixel is not handled by auto focus so the selfie detail is too soft (like 5 mega front standard phone), but the colour is good, and softlight is really helpful at the low light; the main camera 13 megapixel really it is a toy camera, not having any stabilizer (even the small stabilizer), and PDAF is not having any effect to the camera, colour is fair and detail is soft and sometimes noisy, for example: take a pic on lcd it is easily get blurred even hand is steady, other phone even cheaper one could handle this thing so well

Conclusion: i gonna exchange with the Redmi Note 4, because i am not an selfie addict but i need big battery only with the better camera

The only problem i face is with music player. Sometimes it lags and unresponsive and opening recently played in playlist takes like forever to load. Battery drain is faster with new update

prashant, 19 Apr 2017after upfating the new version 3.2.2 i m facing a battery d... moreI didn't notice heat and battery drain (or maybe I was not accurately see it) on software version 3.2.2

Before do downgrade, you might be need do backup for safety. In my case, I didn't do it, I just do trial and error at that time. I had set on setting, automatic restore on backup menu inside. So after finished booting, success downgrade, the apps I downloaded still available, so I don't need resintall one buy one anymore.

prashant, 19 Apr 2017after upfating the new version 3.2.2 i m facing a battery d... moreThe tutorial of downgrade can be seen from YouTube.

First, download the Vivo V5 firmware in this link:
                                        http://download.api.vivoglobal.com/upgrade/upload/UpdateFiles/PD1612F_EX_A_2.7.25-update-full.zip

(That firmware looks familiar with my Vivo V5 firmware first time I activated).

Second, put the file in your phone memory outside all folders (I put it on internal storage when I did downgrade my Vivo). Go to system update, and choose local upgrade, the firmware file will appear. Choose the firmware, the phone will do upgrading firmware.

Third, process upgrading system usually took not more than 25 minutes. After finished booting, your phone's will become 2.7.25 firmware version. If your phone act weird, random restart by itself, I suggest you to update phone firmware again OTA. In my case, Vivo V5 experienced 4 times restart by itself. After I did update with software version E_X_A 2.9.1, the random restart was fixed.
