On back side it's design is copied from iPhone. Nowadays these Chinese oppo and vivo are busy in copying iPhone design. Firstly oppo F1s copied iPhone 6 designs and now vivo is copying. I hate this copied design

Actually these devices cost half the price. But for advertisements, distribution, bonus for each sales made it double.

So their approach has changed from providing a High Fidelity audio centric phones to camera centric devices like Oppo along with good music quality over headphones. And Vivo is heavily promoting on this.
This news is not good for music lovers like me. :(

i think this phone with Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon processor . overall it is full of tech.

OMG! Vivo V5 literally everywhere inside Vivo store. Everywhere! Its on the display glass counter. Above the counter. On the wall. A huge board stand outside displaying V5. A large V5 lighted logo here and there. Thats the only phone they promote for christmas sales. Im looking for the other V series and X series but nowhere to be found. Maybe I should go to a bigger store.

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2016Ur are Right that MTK but this is not 32 bit.... Vivo V5 is using the sam cheap and low quality MediaTek MT6750 SoC of Oppo F1s. Both phones are identical with different names. The SoC is so weak it does not even support FullHD/ 1080p display resolution. Hence both phones sports low quality HD/ 720p displays. This phone is not for gamers.

I found that Mi5, Zuk Z2, both using the more powerful snapdragon 820 priced similarly or cheaper than V5. I also found Oneplus X with Snapdragon 801 price lower than V5. Honor 7 with powerful Kirin 935 is also price similarly. What should i buy? Even ZTE phones are quite decent and even have 20mp camera.
