          Before buy Vivo products, you should aware first that Vivo less update of software.

            Anonymous, 22 Aug 2018In what way did 3.6.2 update is better.....?The decrease volume of media sound is fixed. I don't know if this problem appears on other users or not. But, I experienced it and it had been fixed by updating FunTouch 3.6.2.

                What the VIVO is.......
                I chatted with 'vivo india' regarding oreo update and new funtouch os,they always said 'you will get notifications regarding that'from a couple of months.till now no new funtouch rom or new oreo update.i chatted in fb too they also said 'you will get notifications regarding that update'but still no updates even though oreo update was released a yr back.what did vivo india doing their.and in recent days they r busy in designing their new plasitcs phones.

No new features upto now still from marshma... moreActually, since August, Vivo V5 Plus receive new software update, it was FunTouch 3.6.2 (Indonesia region had received this update from August 1, 2018. Don't know about other country). My experience using it, feels FunTouch 3.6.2 is better than Android Marshmallow FunTouch 1.8.2.

                    1. For theme, I am OK with that. Xiaomi also has complicated rules when trying to install themes
                    2. UI maybe boring, but for me, it is OK. I am simple
                    3. About poor connection. Here in Indonesia, I using Vivo V5 Plus no problem in network operator
                    4. Display so far inn my opinion, it is fine. I am simple
                    5. Because I am not camera man, again, it is OK for quality
                    6. Face unlock... Maybe Vivo doesn't want to add it. So far I use PIN lock screen no problem. The fingerprint unlock is also very good
                    7. Software update... Hmmm. yes, it is very slow. But if we think, most Vivo or Oppo smartphones do the same too. So, users should be aware first before buy those products. I, before buy Vivo V5 Plus, had thought about slow software update. But, I accepted it, that's why I purchased Vivo V5 Plus

                            I started hating vivo because of below reasons,

                            -Very slow software updates
                            -Not adding any additional features thru ota updates
                            -Since v5 plus has duel front camera why can't provide
                            face unlock feature?
                            -Selection of themes in app store is very very less
                            -No ui change since i bought this phone
                            -very poor Network reception
                            -The camera quality not improved 1% actually the
                            quality is going down
                            -there is no settings available to change the display
                            color

By the way, so far Vivo V5 Plus is good on my usage of everyday. No hang or lag, the lack is only lack of update. Just wait for several weeks anymore, maybe there will be new update again.

                              About Xiaomi Redmi series, although the phones have more new updates compared Vivo phones, Xiaomi Redmi series have many complaints from their users. I read at Mi Community. Many complaint ads, lag, etc. While Vivo V5 Plus no ads, no lag (if there is lag, it seldom happens).

However I am patient... lets hope by Nov of this year we receive Oreo.

                                      The problem of decrease media volume sound looks had been fixed by updating my Vivo V5 Plus to FunTouch 3.6.2. From August 1 till now, no complaint and no problem I notice.
