I even emailed their Philippines, India, Thailand, Vietnam CMDs to ask about this - but nothing. It's very nonsensical that Vivo does not have information.
Oppo didn't update their R9 to 6.0 in all countries, so it's possible that they may not update the V5 Plus, though it is the SAME phone with SAME mainboard as the X9i.

am using Vivo X9 i got update in this month, now am on Android 7.1.1, everything is smooth i haven't regret buying this phone , i think they will work on V5 Plus soon to get Android 7.1

raj if u using this device so you have to know that this device is performing as well as samsungs j7 better then it's GHz processer,,,,so vivo v5 will also works hiperthirtically and better then samsung j7

Vivo V5 Plus is good phone with nice picture quality and sound....I am using for last 6 months without any problem...Unfortunate my camera icon got deleted or might be hidden...Can some one help to re-appear the camera icon on home screen...

SS, 17 Aug 2017vivo v5 plus 7.0 upgreadable phne....?Don't know. Chinese version of this phone, X9 is updated to 7.1.1 on August 2017. So maybe if we ask Vivo nicely, we get.

Recently i noticed my Vivo V5 Plus display showing a bluish tint on the sides of the display in dark background..On other colours its fine but in black background the display shows a bluish tint on all sides and it looks awful in full brightness..is it normal ??

Bought V5 plus last weekend (12 Aug), and didnt try to make call out.
Just figured out that it cannot make a call at all (14 Aug) and yet can still receive incoming calls.
I dont know whether its the setting, or the phone faulty.
Gonna return it back to the distributors asap.
