Based on the spec, I think that V5Plus is among of the best smartphone on that price.I mean look on those specs, dual front camera with 64GB roms and 4GB ram? even Samsung A7 2017 which more expensive only gives 3Gb and 32 roms plus sAmoled display which cost a smartphone to repair and I don't think the water resistance is usefull

Nobody is saying Vivo V5 Plus is BAD. It is just the pricing is unjustifiably high. In India it should cost around INR 18K same as Lenovo P2. Instead is costs INR 28K. Also V5Plus is a much better phone than Samsung J7 Prime. But then why even think of V5Plus or J7Prime when you can lay hands on far superior Vivo V3Max.

I have watched reviews about samsung galaxy j7 prime..yeah it is a good performer when it comes to everyday task and camera performance is commendable..but it is not recommended for heavy users..it is questionable to that vivo v5 plus is priced high..but I think in the performance category..it does the job whether its moderate or heavy use..it will do a job well done..it will not be the best but it will provide an all around performance..so to sum it up..vivo is still a good phone..the only con is the price tag..every phone has their own flaws..regardless if its high end or entry level..

It has far bette... moreFIRSTLY, Snapdragon 625 SoC in Vivo V5 Plus does not support DDR3 RAM. :) Both Vivo V3 Max & V5 Plus uses 4 GB DDR3. However V3Max is more performance oriented with SD 652.
SECONDLY, V5Plus may come with Marshmallow, but you will be hard pressed to find any additional features in V5Plus over V3Max. These Chinese ROMs are very consistent UIs and I have been using many Vivo phones like X5Max, X5Pro, XShot, X3s, V1, Y27L & V3Max for last three years. To put it straight in your face, Vivo does shameless copy of Apple iOS you find on Apple iPhones.
THIRDLY, Virtual Reality(VR) is useless as of now due to very limited content availability. V5Plus does not support inherent technologies like Lenovo TheaterMax which you find in almost all Lenovo phones like Vibe X3 and Vibe P2 for example. You can use VR glasses with Vibe X3 and it truly provides a great cinematic experience with TheaterMax + Dolby Atmos audio. I own a Vibe X3 too, so I know what I am taking about.
In the end, V5Plus even after discounts @ INR 24K is a NO GO from me. Its place is with Lenovo Vibe P2 with identical specs @ INR 18K. And with Vivo V3Max available at a lucrative price of INR 19K, it is a no brainier that V3Max is STILL the champ. :)
