On Phone Arena
" Today, "X" subscriber Sahil Karoul revealed (via Wccftech) that a CPU Throttling Test that loaded the 8-core CPU with up to 100 threads resulted in the chip throttling performance down by 46%. Each thread is a series of instructions given to the CPU by an app or program. Asking the CPU to handle such a workload put stress on the cores causing them to overheat and throttle. While throttling, one of the core's clock speeds dropped to .60GHz with the remaining cores dropping to 1.20GHz and 1.50GHz. The maximum clock speed for the chip is the 3.25GHz that the Cortex-X4 Prime CPU cores were running at by default."

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2023That just sounds like copeYou're the ones coping by watching your favorite garbo yewtoobers who praise Sammy's junk cameras and acting like they are the best on the market. Newsflash: they are not. Continue coping though.

Osama, 24 Nov 2023By the time Vivo X100 series is released globally, Samsung ... moreOf course Samsung will always have most of the advantages compared to vivo, but maybe some people will simply want the X100 Pro instead of the S24 Ultra. If I wanted a versatile camera phone, for example, I would rather go with a vivo, since I am not a fan of Samsung's over sharpening and rendering.

Osama, 24 Nov 2023By the time Vivo X100 series is released globally, Samsung ... moreThat's probably true, however those who afford spending flagship money I presume they will upgrade phones every 2 or 3, maybe even sooner so they don't care about 5 years of update because in 3 or 4 years they would want the current generation

David 040882, 23 Nov 2023Wait for it to be released globally, then you'll see m... moreBy the time Vivo X100 series is released globally, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra should also be released by then. I say S24 Ultra will surely be better. Vivo has gone crazy with giving Dimsensity chipset in Vivo flagship and snapdragon in iqoo one, it should have been the opposite. Also, they reduced the pixel density of the display of the x100 pro, compared to iqoo 12 pro. The ultrasonic fingerprint scanner seems to be replaced by a optical one as well, though not sure about the fingerprint scanner yet, though that's what gsmarena has mentioned.
Samsung is the go to option. Vivo offers a max of 3 OS updates and three years of security updates i presume, while Samung provides 4 and 5 respectively and their updates are more timely as well. Samsung's software experience is more mature as well. Also, the pro plus model is around the corner which will be the true flagship remediating all these concerns.

Just saw a review of this phone on YouTube. Comparing it to sd 8 gen 3, it has a faster cpu but the gpu is slower. It only managed 40 percent in stability score. I know it's a camera centric phone but that stability score is not promising and only records 1080p 60fps on the selfie camera.
