Probably because MediaTek is cheaper in cost/performance than Snapdragon is. A lot of phone manufacturers are realising this. MediaTek has really come on in leaps and bounds in the last few years.

Both can eat A17 pro for breakfast though.

i will wait for the real review by flossy. Either way this is a solid device the only issue is that bloatware origin os and with not knowing when will global version arrive

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2023I was in greece last week using the 10x camera daily on my ... moreA lot of people, like me for example, rarely use any zoom when taking photos so this feature looks irrelevant. The only time that I have taken a photo with zoom higher than 2x was only in order to test the camera lol. On the other hand if we are talking for a 50MP camera even the digital zoom is very much acceptable until 7x-8x or so.

Surprise with the performance of the chipset Mediatek Dimensity 9300. An absolute phone of the year consider the spec given and the selling price. X100 pull up the spec level for this price range phone. Looking forwards what competitors will offer in order surpass this great model.
