Vivo’s next flagship smartphone has been caught in the whirlwind of leaks and rumors for a while. Now, the Chinese company finally took the wraps off the new Vivo X5Pro.

Vivo X5Pro’s specs fall in line with past leaks. Its 5.2” 1080p Super AMOLED display is covered by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. The device packs metal frame and speaker mesh which appears somewhat inspired by that of iPhone 6.

The smartphone packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with octa-core CPU, coupled with 2 GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot.

A 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash sits on the back of the device. The front facing 8MP camera bears an image interpolation technology that allows it to shoot up to 32MP images. It and also bears an eye-recognition feature for enhanced security of the phone and its data.

Vivo X5Pro runs Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android Lollipop. The smartphone packs a 2,300 mAh battery along with dual-SIM 4G LTE support.

Vivo is yet to announce the phone’s availability and price. The latter is expected to be in the $440 ballpark.

I'm agree that Lenovo has some advatages, like big battery... But do not compare wonderful sound of VIVO, who has a dedicated DAC, to anything by Lenovo. Who wants a great sound - will definitely choose VIVO.
