It basically like floats in the suspension, so it can counteract movements. For example, if you shook the phone to the right, the camera would basically point to the left. It is said to be 3x better at stabilising than OIS. So it is basically like sensor shift, as the sensor also floats, but gimbal uses a ball.

Nice design, but looks like Oppo X2 Pro for back design... Overall the specs are great except no dual speakers..

Seems like a pretty high spec phone. Though I don't get why they put the gimbal on the ultrawide camera. I personally find the main camera much more important. But at least they actually include accessories in the box, unlike some companies...
