I did for a long time only consider screen area which is a great improvement over looking at the idiotic diagonal. (don't people understand that the diagonal means nothing when there are so vastly different screen aspect ratios?)
However, I do consume a ton of media and 99% of it is 16:9. Considering that I'm OK with 91mm wide (and even slightly wider), I've decided that I'd push for somewhere around that width if it's going to be a cropped picture. That way it won't feel like a downgrade (losing picture information).

I see it only has a 240 touch sampling rate.
Also, the screen looks like those smashable old Galaxy curved screens that sucked so much.
Not a fan of puncholes and I wish it were 1cm taller and had a cheaper chipset but still it's great to see a nice wide phone (75.3mm) again after all these years!

I like reading books with an oled screen for the eyes. Why have a kindle when a 7inch phone is there?
I went Mi Max 2, Mi Max 3 AAARRGH! No Mi Max 4. Honor 10, then had to go Axon 20 5G which is fine
The inches are deceptive with these stupid aspect ratios.
Basically I want width over height. Most of the 'Big" (6.8-6.92in) phones are only 71mm across the screen. The Mi Max 3 was 78mm. The Black Shark 3 pro is 75.5mm If this is 19.25:9 aspect ratio and 7in the actual screen wiidth is 75.3mm which is great!!
Very interested in this one. Hope there is a cheaper version. Hopefully more of these come out now. Axon 40???

The broad 7,64 cm Vivo X Note screen is even wider then the 7,3 cm S22 Ultra screen.
I don't know if that's good or bad lol.

Need more larger phones. Not everyone has dainty hands. Was rooting for the black shark 5 pro...but God what let down. They got it so right with the black shark 3 pro I mean try finding one on the Internet..... The eye or gigabyte version is still going for over a 1200 bucks..... I mean come xiomi....hint hint.......looking at the black shark 3 pro still......only gaming phone still that has decent resolution......any one that's got better is smaller.....
Just want 7.2 sony Playstation phone that's a complete rip off of the black shark 3 pro....except with even better resolution and the same thing under the hood as there upcoming flag ship . Oh yeah also that they release it just after it's announcement.....Sony has to stop building hype 8 months til the release...
