            Make sure, that if you are actually going to buy this phone, the first thing you should do when you get it, is update Google Play Services, so you don't make the same mistake that I did.

              If said apps are in High Power Consumption mode then they will stay. You should absolutely be fine with 8gb of ram, however I think the 12gb variants from where I ordered it, might just be cheaper anyways.

              I went with the 12gb/512gb for 2 reasons, this is a very big investment, so I wanted to get the most out of it, but also the 12gb/256gb option was sold out at the time, in fact I just checked and it still isn't available.

              I ordered mine from Tradingshenzen btw and everything went down perfectly, so I can recommend them. The 12/256gb variant costs 657 euro when available, otherwise the 12gb/512gb version is 757 euro and I personally didn't have any other charges apart from an about 20 euro shipping fee.

Actually i planned to buy it soon as i heard the speaker quality is much better than s22u. another question will background apps being killed agrresivly while multitasking and do you think 8gb variant will be sufficient enough for me? im not gamer im just watching vids, browsing and using social apps mostly..maybe it will be alright? i still could afford 12gb though but im curious wether 8gb is enough

                    Hanif Fikri, 07 Jun 2023ok how about popup notification system? is there any delays... moreThere might be a slight delay, like maybe 30-60 seconds compared to my non-china-only phones, but I do get MOST of my notifications. One important thing to *note*, before I go to sleep, I always put my phone into airplane mode.

                    1 - GSMArena comment notifications that I'd get, after the phone has been put into airplane mode, I will never receive, hence the late reply of mine to you. I'm not saying this is GSMArena's fault, but this is the ONLY app that does this.

                    After airplane mode has been turned on, I get emails and fb messenger notifications, youtube and such. The moment I turn off airplane mode, all of these come through instantly.

                    2 - Gmail refuses to give any notifications ever, so I just don't bother with it, as I like vivo's own email app design better anyways, it's much cleaner and works the same way aside from that and that gives notifications perfectly.

                    GSMArena does however give me every notification, aside from the ones that I'd get when airplane mode is on.

                    Gmail works btw, it just doesn't give notifications even though Autostart is on and so is high power consumption.

                    I have actually used a vivo iQOO 5 Pro for more than 2 years, so I already knew how Origin OS was gonna work. When it comes to notifications there are 2 important things you have to do in the settings app, first you have to turn on "Autostart" for the selected apps that you'd like to get notifications from, then you have to set those same apps to "High power consumption", after that you will get your notifications, except for Gmail as I said it before.

                    Another 2 things that could be important for some, but one of these really shouldn't be.

                    Google Chrome can not be installed at all, however the Beta version of it can, I haven't noticed any differences between them, no sudden crashes or bugs either, so this shouldn't matter to anyone.

                    However Android Auto doesn't work, I don't have a car and even if I did, I still don't think I'd use it anyways, but this could still be important to some.

I think that is quite good, as I'm using this phone on max brightness and 120hz always turned, 1440p resolution and I have the always-on display on "always show" mode.

                        I very much enjoy this phone so far.

TWO devices...or an overpriced foldable (again for the price of 2 or more)...less is more (for the manufacturers and the carriers)
