This phone for the budget lineup is really good. It can handle most day to day tasks smoothly and the battery is an absolute beast. The charging is slow, but considering this is a budget phone from 2019, that is acceptable. The camera in daylight is good, though the low light is bad, noisy and grainy. The software is a kind of outdated, running on Android pie but it is from 2019, so that doesn't really matter. And it comes with a headphone jack, though it does use micro USB. But overall, this phone is a very solid budget phone.

OK, so im a bit of a phone snob. I always have a phone in the higher end of the scale. I currently use a Pixel 5 but dropped it and it needed to be sent away for repairs. I went looking for a cheap phone to use in the meantime and ended up with a VIVO Y12. I am really liking this phone. I dont notice any lag from normal day to day use. The battery is excellent. Screen is big and bright. The cameras are actually quite good in normal daylight which i was surprised by. The phone is a lot better than i was expecting and i enjoy using it. The negative points of the phone are as follows:
-Speaker is average
-low light photos not good
-No NFC
-Not waterproof
These negative points reflect the price though so it makes sense. In order to keep the price down they had to compromise. You cant buy a cheap phone and expect it to perform like a premium phone.

Vivo is very good..
but it's camera at night is the worst camera that i have seen...beside this problem it's very good...

I purchased this phone 2 wks. ago as a spare backup, also own a Samsung s10 plus have had no problems with my new Vivo phone use only for calls and testing camera good okay !!battery superior to Samsung last twice as long NO COMPLAINTS with Vivo Y 12 !!!

It's an entry level phone after all, what do you guys expect? Should go for at least mid range if you guys want a better experience in all aspects.

This is very useless product in the world because it has good look but not good performance.when I started screen recording then this device lagging and hanging and the sound quality is mixing bad while the screen recording is starting.
