At this pr... moreThe a34 was released at £399 compared to the vivo that came out at £279, the Samsung a23 5g would be it's closest competitor at £299 but it only has 64gb/4gb, however it is 5g and the camera has ois (however owning both I find the camera to be better on the vivo, even if they do both use the same unit).
Battery and screen are also better on the vivo and the speakers louder too.

Chinese brands are scamming us out of our money. At this price, you can get A34 which is miles ahead of this 'budget' phone.

Anonymous, 07 May 2023which is better, Y35 or Oppo A77s? in terms of normal funct... moreI haven't had the oppo, but the vivo has a higher res screen and personally I think one of the best lcd's I've seen in recent years (especially if you put it on vivid/bright with the slider slightly towards cool) plus the phone hasn't put a foot wrong in the 4 month I've owned it.
Personally I think the camera is very good and I have taken some very pleasing photos , however night photography isn't the best.
Again I can't comment on the performance of the oppo , but what I can tell you is I find the vivo (8gb ram version) quite snappy and that the gpu (adreno 610) on the vivo is clocked at 1114Mhz (according to a device info app) which I think helps it not struggle as much as I was expecting in games for this chipset.
Battery wise I'm getting over 8hr SOT .
Of course everything is subjective and this is only my personal experience with the phone, but I hope this helps.

Its just okay but if your plan is for camera... moreThe vivo uses the same main camera as the A23 4g (The Samsung 50mp S5KJN1 unit) but as you said it doesn't have a wide angle and also doesn't have OIS like the samsung, however review on the samsung seem to be horrendous, with over heating , dropped signals and poor selfie camera , while the vivo has no problems that I've experienced .

For its price? Its just okay but if your plan is for camera on a budget its better to get the Samsung Galaxy A23 instead, because the Samsung have ultra wide camera.
