My opinion on the Y53
pros:
-Premium feeling phone and overall just pleasing to touch and look.
-They've added an update which adds facial recognition to this phone which works pretty good which recognises my face 99% of the time (you need good lighting though).
-Spec wise is decent as it can run most games pretty good with no lag. Games like Minecraft pretty smoothly (around 50-60 fps) but demanding games like GTA:SA run badly ran at about 25-60 FPS, especially when theres alot of cars.
-Pretty, customizable and user friendly UI that beats vanilla Android any day.
-Long battery life (can last up to 5 hours of watching videos before needs recharging).
cons:
-The metal plate and edges on the phone is easily damaged. Very easy to get scratches and scuffs on this phone unless you have the phone case.
-The low resolution of 540x960 pixels on this phone is average at best.
-The camera quality is average at best. Frontal camera is even worse.
-Low available internal storage. Only has about 8.5GB of available internal storage right out of the box and uses another 1GB of that memory for caching, and no: you cant move apps to SDcard unfortunately.
Would I recommend this phone? Probably not. You can get a phone (spec wise) like the Redmi 5 for cheaper or the Redmi Note 2 for around the same price as this phone.

Hi guys.. So I just bought a new vivo y53 last day.. It says vivo has 16 gb internal storage and 2 gb ram.. When i visited the storage i saw the inernal storage is 16 gb but the remaining space is 8 gb only.. I haven't downloaded any apps infact after opening the phone i visited the storage immediately to check it... My problem is not transferring sd card to be internal but the storage space is halfed from 16 to 8 gb and when i downloaded 1 app, the space decreased to hundreds of mb while the app is just 60 mb.. What's the problem? Is it normal and how can i fix it

The Vivo Y53 packs a features which actually made for youths. Specially the camera, the front facing camera. Youths this days loves to take selfies so this phone is a good choice. But I noticed if try to shoot a picture using the rear facing camera in low light surroundings the pictures are washed out and not pleasant to eye. Another good thing about this device is its audio quality, its pretty loud. Another con that I've noticed the screen quality and battery are actually bad. The screen is only 220ppi and the battery is 2400mAh too bad. For this price point you can have a mobile phone which has more good screen quality and good battery life. But overall this device is good for basic use and for selfies.

I need the japanese language so please next update create it.

I have been using this model since october 2017. The phone packs some special features, and its made properly for youth. Build of the phone is goid and its attractive...Battery is not an issue.
But the performance wose, its too weak..It lags while loading light games like Mini Militia, loading up facebook app and insta...Even its camera isnt pleaing, with only 8mp rear and 5 mp front...Parts are really very expensive...
Well for the other distinct features, looks, battery and sleekness, it scores full..For performance ill give only 2/5 ...I recommend it those who want a bit different phone, which packs some helpful features and smart looks.For performance lovers, its a disappointment.

I've seen screenshots of the application manager of Y51 and I'm a bit curious and concerned, because Y51 includes move apps to SD card and has the ability to disable pre-installed apps. Is it just me or is Y53 lacking that flexibility to manipulate apps like an android can normally do? If it's just me, can someone tell me how to fiz this, i just want tk disable pre-installed apps or be able to do what i could do from my kitkat phone, i find it absurd to have less capabilities than an older model.
