Vivo's next flagship smartphone detailed

02 April, 2014

Vivo has teased its upcoming flagship smartphone on the popular Chinese micro blogging platform Weibo. The successor of the recently launched Xplay 3S will be the first device in the new 'X-Series' of smartphones, which is said to be designed to deliver the 'ultimate Hi-Fi experience'.

The "discover, record, change" tag line on the teaser suggests that the upcoming smartphone might be camera centric, which of course has been the latest trend among flagship products. If the rumors are to be trusted, the device will be named X-Zoom.

So, what does Vivo have in store for us? Well, the upcoming device from the Chinese manufacturer will be powered by Snapdragon 801 chipset along with 3 GB of RAM. The smartphone will come out with 32GB of built-in storage.

Considering the fact that the Xplay 3S has a QHD resolution display, we expect its successor to also sport a similar panel. There are no details regarding the other hardware specs of the device, but we'll be on the lookout for more info about it and keep you updated.
