vivo's X Fold2 drops by Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
The vivo X Fold2 was spotted on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 12GB of RAM. It's the foldable flagship's second popular benchmark sighting if we needed more proof that the foldable will use Qualcomm's latest silicon.
The vivo X Fold2 will launch in China on April 20, alongside the X Flip, and Pad 2. There's no word whether the book-style X Fold2 will come to the rest of the world.
To recap the specs, the vivo X Fold2 is expected to have a 8.03” foldable E6 AMOLED on the inside and a 6.53” E6 AMOLED on the outside/cover. Both will have a fingerprint scanner underneath.
Camera-wise, the X Fold2 will have a 50MP IMX866 primary unit, a pair of 12MP IMX663 sensors for the ultrawide, and 2x zoom. For selfies, there are two 32MP cameras on each display.
Inside, the battery will be 4,800 mAh with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Finally, vivo says the new foldable will be 10% lighter thanks to an updated hinge.
