SJ where you from? you seem to know about VK pretty well......I think this company has potential...And if they go public I may buy a good amount of shares.

I don't know how they got hold of VK2200, but it is not suppose to be available in U.S. market yet. VK2200 shown here has capability of supporting awsome services in a very thin design. Unfortunatly, this services are not provided in U.S.(but they are coming) So if you have them now, you would realize that the phone is packed with features that you can't use. VK is in the process of redesigning VK2200 to meet the required U.S. specs. I heard that when it is completed, it will have less features and look thicker(thats what U.S. required specs do)

VK filed bankrupcy but they are bought by other company. Their market is still strong in Europe, South America, and Korea. New popular service provider that entered U.S. market called 'Helio' uses phones from Samsung, LG, and VK. VK will continue to bring in their products to U.S.

I purchased this mobile phone only for due to its 4MP camera phone now i m feeling that i did a crapt. I did not not use it not even for one week. Vedio as well as picture is so bad that it is not even up to mark.

VK Mobile have filed for bankruptcy (on july 7th, 2006) - see this link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VK_Mobile
Chances of getting a data cable for the vk4000 - probably nil :-(
If I had known, I wouldn't have bought the phone. I'm not best pleased with virgin mobile for selling the phones of a company that is going bust. At least it was cheap.

should come out with additional functions like additional memory, wifi, email or IM and mp3 ringtones for this model. Wont mind getting one, if have these functions packed into a VK handphone !
