I have a VK530 that does not ring with the clam shell shut! Phone was gift, so no paperwork, VK manufacturers will not help and neither will Vodaphone. Phone is useless. Never again. What do I do now?

I just got this phone a few days ago and overall I think it is a great phone for what I paid for it. I don't mind that the videos dont have sound thats not what I bought it for. If I wanted that I would invest in a camcorder. The only thing I dont like about the phone is that I can't download ringtones. I did have a few problems at first, it would'nt keep the time or date. It kept switching back to military time after I set it for regular time. I just put it back to the factory set and started over. Its working properly now.

this phone is okay not amazing though. the video clips dont have sound and mine doesnt send or recieve mms pics but my main prob is that it never tells me my battery is running low til about 10mins before it runs out. but if u just want a basic phone for calls and texts then its great

i have this phone for about 6 weeks. the only thing its got going for it is the colour of it. this phone is USELESS. As soon as i have enough saved i will be purchasing a new phone

my friend has this phone in pink and it looks really good apart from the videos should have sound!!!

Ive just brought this phone and it wicked except the camera wont work, im taking it back tomorrow to get that sorted but other than that its wicked a must buy!!!!!!!!!

i have just recently got VK530 and still not sure about it at the moment.
Think certain things are great but others are just really annoying such as battery life, they need charging up all the time,urgh!!!
Overall though, i like it, it's pink and got a mirror what more can you ask for, hehe!!!

When i 1st got my phone i was initially unsure on whether it was a good idea as VK isnt well known. But im glad i took a chance on it, ive had no problems in the 6months ive had it, the mirror is a cool feature and the colour and size catches ppls attention. It is a basic phone and doesnt have all the new technology around at the mo but its a good little phone and does what its supposed to do. As for battery i find that its good 4 me, usually lasts me 3-4 days depending on how much i use it. NEways those of u sitting on the fence with this phone, hope iv cancelled some of the negative comments on this site. Its a cool little phone!

i have had a vk phone for 10 months and i have had to bring it back twice i would never advise anyone to get because it just looks pretty. at first i thought it was great but now i have relaised it is the worst.

hi i have just had a vk530 and wen i plug the charger in it dosent do anything could some1 plz tell me if a symbol is supposed 2 cum on it tell me its charging

just got this phone after a sony ericsson, and still cannot open picture messages.keep getting told the settings are all correct and working.. so why oh why, cant i open them then>?? taking it back and would not recommend to anyone.. cute, but not hot

an awfull phone to have i have had the phone for 6months now and not once have i been able to send or recieve picture messages it is so frustrating after spending £100.00 on a small mobile for it not to work, i will certainly not reccomend anyone to purchase the phone "at-all" i have spoken to vodafone about the problem and they have not been able to resolve it and have sad that its a manufactors problem and i have also spoken to vk!!

I bought it, and love it! I'll answer a few question for everyone, anymnore don't hesitate to ask!
1. I don't think it does record sound. It does record short motion videos, but without sound. It's better than nothing though.
2. If you are having trouble with MMS messages or the internet, ring up Vodafone, and they'll sort it for you.
3. The camera is a bit unclear at first, but if you just leave it for a few seconds, the quality is amazing!
4. It might look a bit cheap in photos, but it looks GORGEOUS when you actually have it! Believe me, I know.
5. It doesn't really do much, it's just meant to look sexy - but it has everything I'll need, so I don't mind.

i really want this fone sooooo much but after reading all the bad things about it im not so sure if i want it and i REALLY wanna know if you can record sounds on it!!!

I absolutely love the phone but how does the biorythm work with your mentrual cycle? I was told it helped calculate your fertility can't can't see how? Can anyone help?

same thing as all the others, I went to phone company , this is the current promo buy one get one free. IT DOSENT EVEN HAVE where you can send pics yet! why did they even put this phone out? and you cant download any ringtones either~!

Hi, i saw this phone in ARGOS and ever since then i have wanted one...i have found one on ebay today, but seeing all your comments i dont think i will get one after all. I just thought it looked cool cos it was pink but i dont think it is as good as i thought.

i got this fone and took it back after a week because i thought it picture messaging but it cant recive pics, the battery is rubbish,the camrea is rubbish. this is a sure bimbo fone with no brain!

I bought this phone pretty much because it was pink and so cute! However after 2 months I have now had to get a new phone due the fact that this one cannot recieve picture messages and many of my texts are not recieved by others despite the fact that my phone was telling me yes.This was due to the phone and not the network as I had the messages traced. Think twice, there are better pink phones out there.
