the phones not 2 bad find it hard 2 use sometimes cant snd or receive picture msgs the ringtones are rubbish wishing i had bought a different mobile!

the green bell on the screen means it's in normal mode. if you press and hold down the bottom left key it changes it to vibrate and do the same to return it to normal mode. This really annoyed me too as no where in the book does it tell you what this symbol does.
I'm having problems with messages. Whenever i go to write a new message it is always in abc text and i can't get it to default to predictive. does anyone know how! please help - appart from that i love the phone.

Same problems as everyone else, phone switches itself off,cant send or recieve picture messages, when writing texts it often deletes words as you write them, miss having bluetooth and infra-red. If the phone worked as good as it looks i would be happy and not as disapointed as i am,on return to the shop i was told it is problems with phones specifications and nothing can be done.

I have the VK530 since February and really like it but I am a bit disappointed that ringtones do not seem to available for them, If anyone knows that they are please can you let me know! Thanx!

ive just got this fone and so far am impressed! Jus 1 thing..... does any1 know y the green bell is on the main screen and how to get rid of it??

I got the vk530 in January and it has been ok just had to take it back once cos it was playing up and it does do odd things now and then. My sister has the same phone and has had no end of problems with it - she has had it replaced 4 times!! problem is we are both stuck in a contract with it for a year. Be nice to have some decent ringtones too... next time i wont just be going for looks when i buy a phone!

I bought the vk530 in april and now it keeps going fuzzy, turning itself off and the battery dies every day when it is fully charged - should have stuck to nokias!

I got my VK530 in december and I have never had a single problem with it since then, but then in july the phone would not let me access my inbox when I had a new message.Also when I switch on the screen is all fussy. so I took it back to the shop and they said i have got it wet when I had never taken the phone near water. Has anyone else had the same experience and what did you do?

hey, i've got the vk530 and I thought it was great till recently.. I've had to take it back to the vodafone shop like three times because of the problems I have been having with it. Everything you guys have mentioned has happened to me at the mo I cant send/receive picture messages which is a bit annoying. Vodafone customer services, told me to go to the shop the shop checked my phone n sim n told me to ring 191 isn't that ridiculous?

i have just got the vk530 and i think it is the best phone eva it works all the time and the camera is gr8 i dont see y most people r complaining lol

this phone is absolute rubbish ive had it since january and it has caused nothing but trouble, it switches off when people ring me it switches off when i TRY to read messages and when it switches back on the main screen looks terrible!!i cant use the internet and i cant send or recieve pictures!! this phone is terrible

well...it is a waste of money. i have had the phone since december and the only advantage of it as that it is pink and has a mirror. it wont let me on the internet, whenever i am reading msgs it switches off then on, when i turn it on the screen turns up all fuzzy, the camera sometimes makes pictures purpley and blue, it doesnt let me put other sim cards in it, the ringtones are rubbish..thats all i can think of just now but there are more.

cud somebody plz tell me what to do if you cant get into your messages to read or delete! the fone turns itsself off whenever i try. does this sound familier to anybody where do i get it fixed plz help!!

hi all im bk i got fed up with the phone i had trouble with everything almost and when i though id finaly sorted the problem out another one poped up with the phone so i got rid of it and went bk to my old phone samsung e800 coz ive had the phone for ages and i have never had a problem with it ever
i hope you have better look with the vk530 to tell you the truth it was the worse phone i ever got
best thing to do with the vk530 is get the hammer out to it :))))))))))))) lol

Why don't you retards just read your manual?
There's a download for the manual on this page and the manual I got with my fone is very well written - better than a load of other fones I've had.
The predictive text is a bit of a pain, but then again I had a Nokia and its very hard to live up to their spec.
I bought it for the size, to replace a lost panasonic, and it does everything I want including make calls.
I've had no problems with it.
Battery life isn't stunning but I get 3-4 days of standby. THAT'S WHY THEY CAN GET THE FONE SO SMALL.
So use your brain. Read up before you buy. Sounds like too many of you have second hand and are complaining. If you bought new and had problems straight away then you shoud go straight back to your retailer - THAT'S WHO YOU HAVE THE PURCAHSE CONTRACT WITH.

i recently bought the pink vk and initially loved it. i had 2 send it off 2 be unlocked which was a bit of a pain but then i didnt have 2 change my num etc. so far it hasnt been 2 bad, camera is good n has pretty backgrounds etc but it has some really annoying features. when using predictive txt u cant put a full stop or comma straight after a word, u have to put a space then the full stop then go back and delete the space! so it takes a while to write a txt! also,u have 2 buy a data cable if u wana download ringtones which is a real pain and yet more money! but all in all for a girl who is more worried about the looks and compactibility this phone is good, but if u want special features then id advise u 2 give this one a miss!

yeh id just like to tell all of you that this fone is the crappiest fone ever, i ave one in pink and i will admit that the only reason i got it was because of its colour. The feautures are boring, the camera is so naff and can onli hold about 50 pictures, and the video just looks like a few pictures in a row. i made a mistake. DO NOT BUY THIS FONE!!!!
