martin, 18 Dec 2010please can anybody tell me how to add ringtones to the defa... moreYou must convert the .mp3 files to .amr. A free converter can be obtained from download.cnet.com/...MP3-to-AMR-Converter/3000-2170_4-10620578.htm
After conversion load the .amr files into the recordings folder of your phone's microSD drive. Then follow the instructions on page 129 of the user manual. Setting a MVoice Clip as a Ringtone. The converter has a time limit of 20 seconds which was enough to convert my mp3 ringtone

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2010Has anyone successfully upgraded Vodafone 845 OS to Android... moreInofficial upgrade is existing but its pre pre alpha, made by an individual.
Processor, etc. of the 845 is not made for 2.2 and Huawei will never release a 2.2 upgrade they said. Sad... but there are so many great custom ROM's out there... no need for 2.2 :) Even App2SD is working

Has anyone successfully upgraded Vodafone 845 OS to Android 2.2? If so, where do you see the biggest improvement, and drawback? Thanks.

Just bought one yesterday- i must agree a capacitive touch screen would have made it a marvel of a phone!! But the camera is awesome in the day light and anyone needing an emergency phone should look no further than this!!
