I have a vodafone 845 and yes having the same problem with the canvas, "(process android.process. launcher) has stopped unexpectedly". I did a update with some of the applications that I have and I think that one of them is faulty or infected. since then I have not been able to update my widgets and some now no longer work. I think that some needs to check those updates and see if their is a problem with some of them. My son and daughter have the same phones, same problems their too.

UPDATE!
Home screen working properly again, thank God :) The sd card on it was causing the problem. New sd card in now the 845 is back on track once again :D

Solly, 21 Jun 2011I have been using this phone for about 3 months and its ver... moreYa i'd say you are right. I only had the phone three weeks. It is a very good budget handset. However, I have a problem with it. It's probably my fault for dropping it but everytime I wanna go back to the home screen after going into the file manager for example, the screen goes blank for a minute. Then this notice comes up 'Activity Canvas (in application canvas) is not responding' I have to press force close and the phone's home screen reloads again but then a minute or two later, the same problem occurs again. It's really annoying now. Any idea on what I need to do?

I have been using this phone for about 3 months and its very good. Answering to KENCO. Yes even I have the same problem, videos don't play through my GPS (Must be a problem with kind of processor we have in this phone) however i don't have any problem playing videos through wifi.

I can't get youtube videos to play. It keeps saying there's a problem while playing the video. It's driving me mad. Does anyone, with a Vodafone 845, know how to fix this? (what settings, do i need to download flash player from an apps market etc.)

Update!
This morning my VF845's alarm woke me up and the phone was working as if nothing was ever wrong - screen is back in business.

I made a call successfully this morning on my VF845 but as soon as I ended the call, the screen went blank.
I can still receive calls and messages but of course I can't see the messages and can't make calls.
I have tried taking out both the battery and sim card, but neither helps.
Any suggestions? Please help!
Before today, happy in every respect with the phone.
