White HTC Desire and silver HTC Wildfire caught in the wild
HTC Desire is getting yet another paintjob. This time the Android smartphone is showing up dressed in white. In the meantime its younger bro, the HTC Wildfire, gets a silver color version.
Currently, the HTC Desire can be found wearing brown, black or silver outfits and, apparently, its white color version is just around the corner. Luckily, the white Desire posed for some photos while waiting for its market launch.
To refresh your memory, the HTC Desire features a large 3.7" capacitive touchscreen of WVGA resolution and is powered by a zippy 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Also on board there are 576MB of RAM memory, a 5MP autofocus snapper as well as the Android 2.2 a.k.a. Froyo.
HTC Desire is getting a white paintjob and the HTC Wildfire - a silver one
As for the HTC Wildfire, its design is reminiscent of the Desire's but there is one major difference: the Wildfire is a lot smaller.
The HTC Wildfire packs a tiny QVGA screen (measuring 3.2 inches), a slower 528MHz processor, less built-in RAM memory (384MB) and runs the Android 2.1 a.k.a. Eclair. Up until now there were black, brown, white and red Wildfires to see but today we get to take a look at the upcoming silver one.
Unfortunately, it is still not clear when the new color versions will become available.
