One more addition to the specs. According to Qualcomm, the DAC chip that comes with this processor is Aqstic WCD9385, capable of audio playback up to 32bit/384khz. Which gives this phone one more star or two in the audio quality department.

It's a good phone but the fingerprint/power button is bad. Water keeps leaking into it, letting fungus develop inside. I've had to replace the button twice in one year already. The problem doesnt seem to stop though. Keeps repeating.

Even the term "Black Crush" is not widely known I hardly found any website that actually explain how the Black Crush looks and how prominent it is in any of smartphone on the market.

Probably one of the most beautiful Xiaomi phone ever made with its light weight, thin design, almost symmetrical bezels and corner punch hole camera. Xiaomi 12 Lite and 13 Lite looks trash if compared to this. Xiaomi 13 almost perfect too but it have centered punch hole camera, which make it uglier than 11 Lite. Too bad this phone is brought down by its crappy screen. I actually planned to buy this before I know about the screen issue. I guess I will settle with Pixel 5.

DiscNots, 03 Apr 2023just updated from MIUI 14 14.0.2 and here's what I not... moreI'd rate it 9/10 with custom ROMs (especially PixelOS) except the Black Crush part. Battery is great. There's a telemacro camera sensor, unlike the newer devices with 2MP rubbish Macro. Xiaomi keeps cheapening out on something since 2021. Shame on you Xiaomi for the display fiasco! Other than that, this phone from 2021 supports Dual SIM Dual Standby on 5G, which is great. To GSMArena and other reviewers, please test out Black Crush too when reviewing phones.

DiscNots, 03 Apr 2023just updated from MIUI 14 14.0.2 and here's what I not... more1. Proximity sensor issues not resolved. When the call is received and you are answering by keeping near your ear, the phone either gets disconnected OR goes on mute/hold
2. Simple apps like Camera, Phone, WhatsApp and others get hanged without any specific reason/ heavy usage - frequently like once every 2 days
3. Camera, yes- not that great but manageable for casual photos
4. Security updates - have received 2 times in 8 months
5. Biggest minus point - Google dialer
Ideally, I prefer to avoid Xiaomi (my experience with Note 5 Pro - my old phone was excellent and bought this but still not go for any new Xiaomi phone)

just updated from MIUI 14 14.0.2 and here's what I notice:
Display: Black Crush is still not fixed, but lessened
Displays bit blurry (even with miui 13 considering its amoled) cheap display good job xiaomi
Notice yellowish tint display
Camera : camera's shot are bit blurry (even with 64mp) need more testing.
Fingerprint : ok no problem( some say fingerprint is lost after update)
Battery : The best. 10/10 The battery somewhat gets optimized. Even on 90hz refresh rate the battery shows less battery consumption.
System: buttery smooth I guess.
Minimal heat experience even with playing some heavy games Unlike on previous miui 13 where it gets warm.
Did not experience Crashing or freeze.
Overall : 8/10

Never had a problem with the display after 1 year use except the black crush still not fix.what can I say, this phone is lightweight and battery last long 1 day if you just browsing and messaging. My iphone 11 pro just sit idle in locker as spare phone Incase this one broken.

Worst display experienced ever... Even mix2 was having way better display... Recently bought on 14th march... Taking to service center in one or two days.... Stay away from this phone... Vary blurry display.

kimbu, 06 Mar 2023is this black crash color problem solved or half the phones... moreNo .. still have it even with custom rom... But you can fix it with some app without root.. however it will cost you the color reproduction.. black will not be display as deep black anymore.
If display is your main concern, just stay away from this device .. just search for other alternative.
I recently bought a used A52 for backup phone and surprisingly that device have way better display than this 11 lite.
