I have been using this phone for some 9 months. Camera produces worst images like color painting, and night mode is practically nothing at all. (unlike GSMarena review)
        Heats up bad, and if u use camera and keep default gallery app opened in memory, your screen on time may be below 3 hour. Standby takes more than easy 10% overnight. So battery camera thermal, worst
        Recharge time is good, screen is good, audio good, hepatic good enough,

                  In my current version (MIUI 13.0.7) camera is bad because:
                  1. Very cold colors. Most of the colors are on the green side, not warm enough and color representation is not accurate.
                  2. Distorted content. The AI processing is relatively bad at this point, the subjects in the pictures looks like they are inserted after the picture was taken and the bodies and faces have distorted shapes.
                  3. Poor dynamic range.

                  In my opinion all those are software related problems. My solution was to install a port of Google camera software (from Pixel Camera) -including HDR+ Enhanced processing- and the differences are...enormous (in a good way).

The miui 12.5. Have you not heared the rumors that Xiaomi has some issues with updates. If you want your phone to last longer dont update because it might last up until 5 years.
