Xiaomis T series have always been inferior to the first model and this time the only the battery seems to be slightly better on the T everything else leans towards regular 11

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2021It's definitely better than the 10T in cameras and scr... moreThe screen is worse in two aspects though, sharpness/details and notch placement.

FHD+ AMOLED at this screen size unfortunately offers a somewhat pixelated experience. Some are more sensitive about this than others, as with everything.

The FHD+ LCD of the Mi 10T is better in these regards. Much more detail and proper "retina" quality sharpness and the notch in the bottom left corner when watching videos. Not really noticeable notch, unlike the middle placement. They even made a big deal out of the placement on the launch of 10T/Pro and then later forgot all about the benefits of it with this 11T/Pro. Very sad.

However as far as contrast, black level and max brightness the 11T wins. HDR10+ and DV support are clear bonuses as well. Just sad that one needs a QHD+ AMOLED to get an equivalent "retina" grade sharpness as FHD+ LCD. Hence Apple also having to coin the new "super retina" phrase when switching to AMOLED.

                      Yikes!!!

That's my 1st reaction when reading the spec of the phone with this price tag. Someone in Xiaomi is definitely drunk when decided to set such a price for this Dimensity 1200 phone.

Big price difference from 10T but not justified. Just better screen. And then you have some camera downgrade (not talking about the 108MP because it's the same as the 64MP), battery downgrade (92h) and other mini difference. Don't know why they just didn't call it Mi 10T new

Xiaomi don't give updates, they want you to buy a new one. And you will have too because of the low quality of their phones soon dead.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the info on this page is incorrect where it states the device can record 4k@60fps because on the Xiaomi UK website, the specs state it just does 4k@30fps, which is odd since the Xiaomi Mi 10T did 4k@60fps so I suppose this is due to the MediaTek processor not having as advanced infastructure as the snapdragon processors as even my Mi 9 with a 855 can do 4k@60fps....either that or Xiaomi has limited it to 30fps so the pro model can sell or they simply have just made a mistake on their website.
Also not a big deal but I think it's weird that Xiaomi have suddenly decided to take out the "Mi" in the name as we had the Mi 9T, Mi 9T pro, Mi 10T and Mi 10T pro and then all of a sudden it's dropped. Not only that but Samsung have their galaxy series and their Note series so idk but I think having the "Mi" in the name gave the Xiaomi devices their own identity, whether it's the Mi series or Mi T series.
