This phone is worst ,I hate this phone
Will exchange it at 7k
After hyperos 💩update this phone got green line
If I normally use it for some minutes or stream something for 15 min this phone heat upto 48 to 52 degree and battery drain like water when it heatup, during heatup changing speed becomes very slow
Now days it is a useless junk heater
I will never waste my money on this type 3rd class Xiaomi flagship phones
I have OnePlus 11 I m very happy with it.

I have been using the Xiaomi 12 pro for almost 2 years now and I love it. The only downside is that the battery drains very fast when using the phone with no stop. Other than that everything is perfect.

This is likely caused by the most recent update. What we could do right now is wait for another update to come and hope that the green line disappears.

My Xiaomi 12 pro just got a green line on the screen. It really sucks because i have been taking care of my phone really well like not dropping on the floor or having scratches. I have no choice but to switch to another phone now.
Pls recommend me phones that doesn't get green line easily.

I have bought two xiaomi 12 pros and both have lasted only a week with no scratches on marks on the screen but the screen randomly dies and does not turn on at all

It seems to have water protection of some sort, acording to their FAQ it's IP53:

A: Xiaomi 12 Pro supports IP53 living waterproof. Damages caused by invading liquid or dust are not covered by the warranty. In addition, life dustproof spillage function will be reduced due to daily wear and tear, not permanent effective. Do not charge your mobile phone in wet condition."

overall is good, but im having issues with network connection, my ping always more than 60ms which make me can't play online game, and my 5g speed never exceeded 80mbps.

This is my first Android flagship, having bought midrange phones since I turned 18 and started buying my own phones and paying my own bill. I absolutely love this thing. I bought it on sale and a little less than a year after its introduction, allowing me to acquire this incredible phone for only $550 at the time. It still runs very smoothly here in 2024 and I have no significant complaints about it.
Build quality and durability is excellent, I've dropped it onto concrete a few times with only the cheap black gummy case included and it survived every time with no visible damage. The performance is also great, being able to run most mobile games I do play while working great for multitasking. There is almost no stuttering or lag when swiping across screens.
The cameras on this phone are some of the best I've personally used, producing breathtaking photos in most settings while having great low light performance. The sheer resolution, sensor size, and 2x optical zoom can be safely zoomed out to 5x digital zoom with no noticeable degradation in quality. The optical stabilization of the main lens is great and keeps photos and videos smooth. Pro mode on the camera is excellent and feature packed, allowing selecting individual lenses even.
The battery is starting to show its age now, but it still lasts long enough for me and the included 120W charger still brings it back up to full in less than an hour which is perfectly usable for me. The phone's hardware appears to be quite efficient for what it is as well.
The breathtaking OLED display is really good, bright, usable in bright light, and blends flawlessly into the edges of the phone. Bezels are absolutely tiny, almost non-existent, and are even on all sides with a tiny hole punch camera in the top center. Pairing this display with the incredible 12GB of RAM and Snapdragon 8 chipset provides excellent video and gaming performance, the 120Hz display making it buttery smooth.
On the software side, MIUI is decent enough, though I installed my time tested favorite, Nova Launcher, for my home screen. MIUI has decent enough features and is a good enough skin of Android, not eating up too much performance in my experience. Rooting the device is easy as Xiaomi provides access to a free and unrestricted tool to unlock the bootloader, opening up the system to flash new ROMs, TWRP, and Magisk.
A drawback is the ad-infested stock software. I fixed it initially using AdGuard, though inevitably ended up using ADB to soft-remove these and install my own alternatives, eventually fully removing them from the device when I rooted it.
Overall, this phone is still solid in 2024, though its cons can be quite infuriating if you aren't into the more technical side of android, tweaking your device, the bloatware and built in ads are much more annoying when they can't be removed easily otherwise.

- Cheap for a flagship phone
Cons:
- Ad-infested stock software, even vital things like the file manager. If you're into the more technical aspect of Android usage, remove immediately.
- Battery degradation becomes quite noticeable after a long time
- MIUI can take some getting used to
- Can be confusing for US customers to ensure they are getting the right version
- Can be easily confused for the Dimensity version which has noticeably worse specs, including the cameras even
