Anonymous, 16 Jan 2022Yah if youre a normal user you can get terrible photo. Howe... morei take photos in various modes and various light conditions, all that on few phones, i compare photos.
If it's main camera, which most ppl will be using: Xiaomi beats Huawei. Xiaomi beats Samsung.
It doesn't matter who takes the pictures, if i take a picture under the same conditions, and one of the phones is better than the rest, then it is better than the rest.

SL , 15 Jan 2022Why cant they fix a 5000+mah battery?no need, 4nm CPU it last as 5000+...batteries got expensive..
120hours+ on test for sure...
the base is 1day extreme use or 2day normal.....there is no need for more...
if you want a bigger battery, you can get it in rugged phones...
f150 2022...
remember, you are buying a phone not a portable battery...

Michy, 13 Jan 2022Any piece of news about Xiaomi 12 Ultra ??? Leica optics ?... moreYes the round camera module seems to have been confirmed.. there was a leak of the smartphone's mould and that showed the round camera design. Also apparently the camera sensors themselves won't be an upgrade, they will be the same as on the Mi 11 ultra. Still yet to be confirmed, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Mi 11 Ultra has fantastic cameras that gave brilliant shots almost every time

Sliver121, 13 Jan 2022Here's a funny fact about the 120w charging on the Mi ... moreIf it's about camera, sorry to tell you this, but not everyone likes fake colors and filtered pictures.
S20Ultra for example can't beat Xiaomi picture quality, it can at best match it.
Only that 100x zoom is a different story, bcoz that beats even Huawei.
From my experience = Samsung has extreme problems with software and does not fix them.
Xiaomi just like Huawei takes awesome pictures out of the box with 0 updates, Samsung needs 100 000 complaining customers to fix the camera...
Photo mode on Samsung phones delivers horrible pictures, good enough for potato facebook messenger lol unfortunately 11Tpro has same mode.
Huawei latest flagships can't beat Xiaomi flagships in picture quality. Colors on Hiawei pictures are sometimes so terrible, you wonder how that came to be.
Pictures at night are terrible, even Samsung can beat that.
Charging speed? it actually doesn't matter, but just so you know, i got here 11Tpro, it has no option to hypercharge, bcoz it does it always if i use the 120W charger and am on performance mode.
I have not tried to combine it with other modes, maybe it does that on battery saver too.
Durability? S20 aluminum sides scratch on day one, cheap paint job.
And S21, you think it would be better? "s21 ultra scratches caused by samung clear view case"
Nope 🤣 i'll add audio issues, connectivity issues, and i am not sure if they fixed the recent camera problems.
Samsung is pushing new untested phones to customers.
Trying to unlock S20Ulra with face or finger? Good luck.
Apple sells 'new' phones, that are actually from last year, but with new number - you will buy it anyway if you are a fanboy.
Xoaimi copies unfortunately some bad designs from competitors, but at least for half the price, and they actually fix the software. In my case they did within 7 working days after i submitted feedback.
You want to know what Samsung said to 'my app works with one out of 10 updates' ?
That the phone is broken and i should sent it to service.
If you go on their forum you will find thousands of similar issues.
Apple= "On top of those problems, we’re also hearing about issues with first and third-party apps, excessive battery drain, Face ID problems including issues with CPAP masks, ongoing noise cancellation issues, Exchange problems, Wi-Fi problems, a variety of CarPlay problems including frequent crashes, iCloud issues, Bluetooth issues, sound problems, and login issues.
A number of iPhone 13 users are complaining about touch issues where the device’s display doesn’t respond to swipes and gestures."

Here's a funny fact about the 120w charging on the Mi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge - it's actually disabled by default. You have to go into the settings and enable it but MIUI recommends that you charge at lesser speeds around 60w. That's hilarious because it means that Xiaomi themselves don't recommend the 120w charging, they don't trust it. Yet the advertisements of both these phones show it in a way that you'll use the 120w charging at all times, everyday. Extremely desperate branding campaign by Xiaomi yet again. Youtubers have also found that when connected to a wattage meter, the phones never even hit the 120w spot, they only stay till 90-100 max. And yet, the lockscreen animation writes "120w" while charging, so that's clearly just a gimmick then

Mi phones have always seemed unnecessarily braggy to me with features that don't matter after the first couple of weeks of purchase, and this phone is no different. "Triple 50 Camera set-up!" So what? S21 comes with one 64 MP, and two 12 MP cameras and it undoubtedly captures better photos. Pixel 6 has just two cameras at 50MP and 12 MP and yet it'll give you better shots. iPhone 13 pro max comes with 3 perfectly optimised 12 MP sensors and it wins against this phone too. Just slapping on more megapixels doesn't matter, you need have good software that can build proper photos and Apple, Google and Samsung have mastered that.
Then there's the 120w charging. Please. Samsung, Google and Apple all offer up to 25w charging on their flagships and that's more than enough. These days there's even news of Mi phones exploding, so it's difficult to trust their charging
Harman Kardon speakers are just a tiny bit louder than Dolby Atmos, so that doesn't even matter
Apple still sticks to flat screens because curved screens are a bad ergonomic design. Flat screens are far more comfortable, resistant to damage, don't have edge glare, no image distortion and don't look awful with tempered glass screen protectors (which almost all of us use). That Gorilla glass victus won't even matter if you drop a curved screen phone on it's side.
And lastly, the worst aspect about Xiaomi phones - MIUI. A universally hated software filled with bloatware and ads. When will Xiaomi understand that consumers just want a simple, minimalist UI that does its job? Instead they add too many bells and whistles that don't matter. I'd much rather go for ColorOS phones by Oppo/Realme or OneUI by Samsung. They have a few bloatware apps that can be uninstalled easily but they're much closer to a proper Android experience.
I hope Xiaomi starts producing phones that aren't made to just look cool in advertisements but are actual durable devices designed to last long with features that matter in the long run
