For years i use phone with 3.5 mm jack..im happy with it, then now when im looking for new quality phone suddenly there is no more jack. So actually there are no more quality phones out there. Now you need to charge 2 gadgets..your phone and that tiny pieces of sh##, one lost just considered lost both, want to buy new one of that tiny thing need lot money. Crab.

Just for fun i transfered 9gb of photos/video to my computer. It took what 4 minutes, people can't waste 4 minutes of their life transferring stuff. How big of files you gonna transfer. You gonna make movies in 4k and transfer 200GB over ? Then be my guest. 🤣 If video and photos are your main priority to transfer, i would go video camera and high end studio camera. If you need to transfer stuff too or from a phone just do that while taking a cup of coffee and relax people 😌👌

Just transfer it or upload it. People must be in a hurry. I really don't see the problem with the transfer speed here. Do you really need a Xiaomi phone if this is your priorities in life ? Just curious why people complain about such thing, there is million of other brands out there with your instant transfer speeds. Chinese companies always cheap out om something. And there is no such thing as a perfect phone I'm afraid 😅

usb 2 is really slow for data transfer (that too on phone without memory card slot); I take lot of photos; I use my mp3 collection; it's a terrible to transfer all data using usb2 from pc/laptop to phone. That's why I chose oneplus while switching from my earlier xiaomi phone.

Once you understand what the use cases for Premiere Pro, Davinci resolve and other video editing softwares are than you'll understand you're the one that is simply not doing enough research before commenting.

I never in my life heard someone say oh let's transfer some photos to my computer. Usually you just upload it to a cloud or social media. But i can see the use for it. But can't be many who actually do it.

These transfer at a abysmally slow rate from the phone to the computer with USB 2.0. Additionally if I'm not wrong only USB 3.1 and above is required for screen mirroring via HDMI to an external display like a TV and/or Monitor.

Look, there is a Grey area of phones where one must choose specs to decide a phone. That is 400-500usd/eur range max. Take my phone mi note 10, i chose it for camera and oled display , I could have chosen redmi devices with higher refresh rate and Soc but I decided to spend the money on this device.
Here we pay 1k eur/usd and this is a premium device. In this price range, I, as user, expect high end config because alternatives offer high end devices with all the bells an whistles. There is no optional specs in this range, you pay for premium. The only difference here is mostly software gimmicks and sometimes hardware additions like a pen or dunno tws headphones on the side.
This is my issue..

People complain about USB 2.0 ? What are you using your phone for, I'm very curious. I never in my life cared about the port of a phone.
