Yes most people don't need 1tb storage but also most people don't need expensive phone but do want one
Also your android systems use some your storage android updates u also have leave some room in storage free for phone too not slow down
Also 4k video will take lot of room if u into that or PC gaming or editing

Then what it was??? More and more companies erase jack from the phone soon n o phone will have jack and only wireless audio will be used. No matter what you try or do. Companies will force you for sake of environment and obsolete cables.
Man thos are the only companies and only for now. Soon they will push selling cireless audio over wred and cables will be gone.
No matter what you think or try you cant stop the future, the progresion, evolution and the fact wireless is the future over wired where jack was here since 1867 and it was many times improved until it came to the point where no more improvements can be made.
Same goes to your SD card 128Gb is good enough for most people many phones have 1TB option. Bragging for SD card is really stupid for adult people. There will be more sad things in life to cry for.
You are just a single drop in the ocean and for manufacturer you are irelewant as long as wireless audio will cost more and is better you can stand even on your head they will ignore you. Sony and Asus will be no different in the next upcomming years.

It's like going to a five-star restaurant with the best chef possible, but you ended having to do the cooking. When you spend four-digit money on a smartphone, you want EVERYTHING on it. If I really want to spend my money on wireless headphones or earbuds, I'll buy a $300 Poco, not a $1,000+ Xiaomi.

If you really claim that, why would the likes of Sony and ASUS put it back on their flagship-tier phone? They could have just continue not putting it. As for microSD card, it still always be relevant in future. For me, always put my high quality music and my high resolution video in my microSD card, so having an external storage inside the phone that can be used on the go is truly helpful and useful.
