    Again, but IMHO.. Dimensity 8100 is not flagship killer SoC because Xiaomi already uses it on 3 their upper midranges. So it feels not special for T series. Not like Dimensity 1200 last year.

    Xiaomi doesn't have global product which use Dimensity 9000. So sad Mediatek release SD 8 Gen 1 competitor but not available on Xiaomi's global portfolio. So, I bet Dimensity 9000+ won't be available too.

              Dimensity 1200 wasn't made to compete with Snapdragon 888.
              It saved some costs :
              - not the best process (6nm instead of 5nm)
              - no Cortex X1
              - not the best ram (lpddr4x instead of lpddr5)
              - smaller and older GPU (G77 instead of G78, only 9 cores compare to 14G78 on Exynos 2100 or 20 on Tensor...but far far far more stable!)
              - unable to use 2.5k display

              Dimensity 8100 save some costs as well :
              - 5nm instead of 4nm
              - No ARM v9
              - no Cortex X
              - only 6 cores GPU (even if it is the newest G610/710 are great)
              (- 8100 is a modified 8000 as Xiaomi asked some extra features such as 2.5k support)

              Dimensity 9000 was made to compete with 8 Gen 1 :
              - top 4nm
              - top lpddr5x (8 gen 1 is limited to lpddr5)
              - latest ARM v9
              - Cortex X2
              - big GPU

                The successor of Dimensity 1200 used on 11T is Dimensity 9000 whereas Dimensity 8100 is the successor of Dimensity 1100.

                So, Why does Xiaomi put Dimensity 8100 on 12T instead of 9000?

                Xiaomi should use Dimensity 9000, 108MP cam, and 67W charging only. Not putting 120W charging but using Dimensity 8100. Because Xiaomi already has Dimensity 8100 portfolios on their upper midranges that are Redmi Note 11T Pro, Redmi Note 11T Pro+, and Poco X4 GT.

                Xiaomi T series are flagship killer series. Not upper midrange. So, 12T should use flagship SoC.

                    Speaker placement is meh.
                    Your palms will cover it while holding the phone in landscape or gameplay.

These ARE NOT their flagship devices and are more in line with mid range or flagship killer from my understanding and GSM literally putting it in their articles.
