B2B, 15 Jul 2023LOLWell I have to say that I have to admit now it heats up in a specific situation at least. I used Google maps in the car for half an hour at least with mobile data in 5g ( hot day and the car was hot) and I got a message that the device is getting hot and certain apps might not work normally. I think if I used 4g instead of 5g could have helped. And the weather is quite hot too and I have a leather cover for the phone.
But it got hot. But also it cooled off very quickly and never stopped working properly in the process.

Skydev, 20 Jun 2023yeah.. my phone only lasts 5-6 hours just to scroll on tik ... moreMaaaan, you really complain about a 5-6 hours battery life while you're watching videos? And not offline videos for that matter? You use the entire screen, you use the internet and you're surprised that the phone only lasts that long?

I have 12T about six months and it's a very handy phone but when I plug in the charger it's getting very hot and when I play games it's getting hot very much and if you surfing the internet and downloading (I download files a lot) with 4G or 5G (I only use 4G) it's absolutely lava after a few minutes and I don't like the UI because before that I had a 51 and that was pretty cool but it's broken because of the damage to the LCD and I had to buy a new phone and this is what I got .30% I am regret from my purchase

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2023What is the Best Mi 12T or Redmi 12T pro +??12T by far. Ofc that redmi version has 200 camera so it's better in that regard. For the rest of the specs I think 12t is way better.

Aster Max, 26 Jun 2023Here's my in-depth review and personal experience for ... moreVery good description of the phone. I use this phone myself and agree with pretty much everything. The battery life is great it runs everything and doesn't heat up at all and cools down very fast. Flagship killer no doubt. I advise this phone. Also I hear people complaining about miui bugs etc but I haven't experienced any bugs myself. Super smooth experience so far.

Jay, 07 Jun 2023Poco f5 non pro vs Mi 12T non pro? Both 8/256 for the same price You decide. I'll list the things that are better, or advantages relative to the other option, in each phone:
Xiaomi 12T:
• Screen responsiveness.
• Screen vividness.
• Faster charging.
• Better camera.
• Better build quality
• Much better speakers.
Poco F5:
• Smoother gaming with higher FPS. Better chipset, but no difference in daily use (other than gaming).
• Possibly one more Android update than the 12T.
• Flat design. Lightweight.

Here's my in-depth review and personal experience for Xiaomi 12T. I'll try my best not to let any bias interfere, and mostly mention facts. I have used the 256GB/8GB Ram model for the last 5 months, and I'm currently on Android 13 with MIUI 14. If you are considering this phone, my personal verdict is: YES, BUY IT. In my experience it's better than any Samsung phone in the price range if you're indecisive between this device and A54 or S21FE. Here's more detail:
PROS:
• The charging speed is insane, something NO Samsung phone offers. The adapter and the cable are both included on the box, too. The 120W mode charges the device in optimal environment temperature in 20 minutes, from 0 to 100. If you start charging from a lower percent, say, from 40%, you'll feel that device is getting warm, and it gets hot when it reaches higher levels, but it's not boiling, and it doesn't stay so for more than a few minutes. There's a setting you can turn on to use slower charging speed (Around 80W instead), anytime you want. That option charges the phone, 0 to 100, in around 30 minutes. The phone doesn't get hot in this mode, just a tiny bit warm which is barely noticable. The phone only charges in the fastest speed if the screen is OFF, so that the phone doesn't overheat if you're using it.
• Battery lasts very long. Over 8 hours of SoT for me without gaming. If you're gamer, it'll last you at the very least 4 hours on data plan, and 6 hours on WiFi, that is, if you're constantly gaming and not giving the device a break. The device barely heats up in constant gaming sessions on max settings, as the thermal management of this specific chipset is phenomenal.
• Multi-tasking is no problem, zero lags or stutters in the UI. One important thing though is that MIUI is a bit extreme when it comes to ram management, so make sure you turn on Autostart and disable battery optimization for a few apps you need to keep open in the background. Doing that, I've never had issues with receiving notifications or background downloads.
• MIUI has come a long way, and now has *almost* no bugs. The animations are smooth and the interface is clean. I've only experienced two recurring bugs: 1. The brightness slider sometimes (like 2 times a day, maybe) doesn't work, it gets dragged but doesn't change the brightness. You gotta close and open the notification panel and drag the slider again until it works. This only happened when the old control center was enabled for me as I don't like the new one. 2. Sometimes the recents page shows zero open apps, while I have a few open. I go back and hold the gesture again to see the correct recents page. This happened to me in the horizontal mode only.
• Signal reception is perfect in my country, could be different elsewhere.
• Back panel (blue) does stain with fingerprints but feels very premium and classy.
CONS:
• The camera can be worse than other phones in this price range, made by Samsung, especially. The 108MP camera does wonders when it comes to zooming (taking rather clear pictures from objects afar), but colors are kind of washed out. The pictures taken by the back camera look better without the AI, but the colors can still be overexaggerated or washed out. The selfie camera is okay, great even. It depends on preference too be honest, it's good enough for me, personally, but I'm not a photograph enthusiast, so that's that.
• MIUI needs some 'getting used to', if you're coming from another device from an unrelated company. Some settings can be deep buried among others, almost impossible to be found without using the search function. Customization is pretty dire, other than the official Themes app, which I don't really use, but can be good for changing icons, lock screen, fonts, etc.
Some notes:
The last Samsung phone I had was A52s, and the back camera is just about the same, but I'm not sure about the A54. 108MP mode is a tad bit better, though. So hold that in mind.
But if you're not a camera/OneUI person, buy it, and don't even think about another Samsung midranger. You will NOT regret it, at all. It's a great all-rounder flagship killer that you cannot even compare to midrange Samsung phones. Even the S21FE has terrible battery and heats up like an oven, from what I've heard. So just go for it and thank me later. Peace ✌️

K, 11 Jun 2023Just a quick question. How to improve battery life in this ... moreFirst, smartphone is designed fo hungry battery. But with 5.000 mAh, I think it is had been reached good point.
Second, higher battery capacity makes the phone thicker and the consequences you should accept if the phone too big or not comfortable to be grapped.
I have no complaint fot battery life. If you want longer battery life, you can set saving battery mode.
