47cosmos, 27 Feb 2023USB should be 3.0 Wish it were flatShould be but it is not so necessary. The most important are mobile functions.
        UFS 4.0 (from 256 GB),
        processor 4 nm.
The question is whether the software is refined?
And I am afraid there is too much Google. Another words I pay for unnecessary Google's functions and pay for the power which Google uses for himself, not for me.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2023The Xiaomi 13 Pro has some low-mid range specs such as 1080... moreWell , it is true what are you saying about Xiaomi . But believe me , the 120 w is awesome , charger in package by the way . I consider it a deal breaker . I had the s21 ultra (exynos) , very slow charghing speed 1 h and 20 minutes , an a very hot phone overall , i say this because some people are concerned that fast charging speed will overheat the battery and damage it in time , but believe me this s21 ultra was way hotter as my actual Xiaomi 12 t pro in any circumstances, .And the 23 ultra didn't make any real improvement in charging , unfortunately . Maybe the s24 series will finally have a real fast charging , i don't know why Samsung is so stubborn . For me charghing speed is very important, a deal breaker like i said. The price will drop fast on Xiaomi devices, they always do . And if the camera is as good as the s23 ultra , well then the charghing speed will make the difference .

Turbo, 22 Feb 2023Are you really using all features of usb 3.1 than usb c 2.0... morewhen you backup, or any file transfer between pc with phone, you'll see the difference. One more thing, it can release with display port.

Oneplus 11 is far better for that price....and still this give feeling like iphone and samsung are cheap considering the price for this.

When you can storage your data by cloud.
And why you need faster data read/write port ?

Super Android 22, 26 Feb 2023The 13 pro has a better, slightly higher res screen (1440x3... moreThe Xiaomi 13 Pro has some low-mid range specs such as 1080/30 video selfie, very poor selfie camera, optical fingerprint sensor (not ultrasonic) USB 2.0 which make it laugheable for a phone that costs more than 400$ (350€) so imagine 1400€ like it costs in Europe.

The 13 Pro doesn't have a better build quality as the QC control in Xiaomi is almost non-existant, in fact this is also proven by the fact Xiaomi is by far the brand with the most phones sent to technical assistance while it's barely the 3rd most sold brand. It neither has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and for these prices it should have all. But it lacks too much.

The display is neither better, the 1900 nits will be shown just in HDR videos from the main gallery while the REAL auto brightness top is barely 1000 nits, worse calibration and contrast than the Samsung S23 Ultra as well. Why do you need Dolby Vision for? To watch the 1% of movies that support "Dolby Vision" on that small screen instead of a real TV? Also Dolby Vision is something you pay for, it's nothing special.

Ok let's continue with more important stuff. Xiaomi doesn't have better cameras as the only better one is the ultra wide angle, the main one is worse especially with MIUI that doesn't get its potential, 13 Pro's video recording is FAR from the quality of S23 Ultra, specially stabilization and dynamic range control. The audio is not better, neither the speakers nor the quality as it doesn't get above 192kHz while the Samsung has AKG Certified Hi-Fi 384kHz audio.

So at the end of the day the Xiaomi is just better in charging speed and ultra wide camera lens. MIUI is still a joke and for a Pocophone or a Redmi might work, but for someone that wants to compete with the best is an utter joke, as it's still plenty of bugs and problems, such as the camera issue the 13 Pro faces right now. Also 3 years of updates at most while Samsung offers 5 years of updates, unique features such as DeX, Samsung Plus and many things MIUI lacks.

The 13 Pro back cover is also very ugly and extremely bulky with that glass covering 40% of the back cover. So it's much more fragile. BTW I don't know how did you determine who has a better GPS but you're right on the infrared port, yet the Xiaomi doesn't have eSIM support. I mean come on it's 2023 everyone is using eSIM in 1st world countries.

Too many weak points and too many things missing for a phone that's 1.400€ also the software is the worst possible. The Vivo X90 Pro+ is the only capable Android phone to compete with the S23 Ultra and it's actually 300€ cheaper than this Xiaomi.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2023So this phone is worse than Samsung S23 Ultra in most aspec... moreFor me this is why I'm just going to buy the Chinese version. Where I live it still supports most of the bands TMobile uses and it's pretty unbeatable at $950 including tax and shipping. Though I agree for the ridiculous price the global version released at it's just not worth it. If my budget was $1200 I would purchase an s23 ultra but given I'd need a new charger, have to account for tax, and get a case, it's just too expensive for me.

as any "good" modern flagship: no microsd, no jack audio, no fm radio. Simple and useful things

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2023So this phone is worse than Samsung S23 Ultra in most aspec... moreThe 13 pro has a better, slightly higher res screen (1440x3088 vs 1440x3200) with more HDR support, better build quality, the same/better performance even vs the overclocked SoC in the galaxies, completely destroys the ultra in charging, battery isnt far off in endurance (but with far faster charging makes the endurance difference negligible). Xiaomi has better cameras, (missing 1 telephoto but the rest are better even using samsung sensors) better recording with HDR formats, its only the selfie thats worse, its also lighter, better gps positioning, atleast on par quality speakers/better and has an infered sensor (galaxies dont).

Software support (if you dont root and flash your phone), transfering data through usb and selfie cam is all the galaxy has actually going for it and if you need the stylus (to most people its not needed). Get whichever you find at a better price or samsung if in America (maybe UK too with samsung having physical stores).

pajson89, 24 Feb 2023i would give my samsung s22 ultra 512gb for xiaomi 13 pro 512gbThe most unlogical comment i've seen in a while.
