Anonymous, 19 Feb 2023Don't believe everything u hear and who told u this is... moreBro this thing doesn't have freaking USB 3. It has USB 2. And yes, it is possible to get high charging speeds with USB 3, Motorola has demonstrated this. It's a pretty big deal breaker for people who transfer files.
Apart from that, the S23 Ultra has better software, arguably a better camera, things like Samsung DeX, much better integration with other products (think Link to Windows, the Galaxy ecosystem, the 13 Pro is much more 'standalone' in this regard). Overall it's a more complete package for 1299 euro than the 13 Pro is.
Now I'm not denying this phone is good - the hardware is super sexy on this and I'm really looking forward to see it. BUT, if priced at 1299 euros as it is rumoured to be, hands down the S23 Ultra is a better buy.
If Xiaomi prices this at 900 euros, as I've said, it will be a really competitive flagship. If Google (pixel 7 Pro) can put similar hardware at this price, why shouldn't Xiaomi? And let's be honest - who will even buy a Xiaomi for 1299 euros, they would be getting too cocky.

I would greatly appreciate your advice on which of these two would be better for the eyes whether the Xiaomi 13 with DC Dimming or the Xiaomi 13 Pro with 1920hz pwm but only up to 59% brightness. Normally I would take the Xiaomi 13 Pro because of the bigger screen, but if the vanilla 13 is better for the eyes then I will probably take the Xiaomi 13

Please tell if the camera can capture all the details without halos & overprocessing, especially in low light & backlight conditions (sorry for expecting too much but this phone could be the best mid range phones of early 2023) cause this phone is equipped with 90% of Sony IMX989 sensor. Combined with 3.2x optical zoom and latest chipset, I would hardly resist it.

Many hate MIUI but I loved it in my Poco X3 Pro, 12.5 enhanced edition and 13 were good and barely any bugs. Since it's heavy maybe those complaints come from users of weaker phones like the one I'm using now with 4GB RAM where keeping something in the background is almost impossible lol but that's like my most major problem and I will simply never get a phone with such low RAM no matter the ROM it's using (my Poco was the 6GB version btw and that 2GB difference is crazy).
Having said that something with 8GB RAM will probably make MIUI feel super light plus the crazy powerful sd8gen2 and maybe MIUI 14 is better than 13 so I expect this and the normal mi 13 variant to perform very good with MIUI. I'm waiting to see how the price will go for the normal 13 variant and want to cry when I see mi 12 being sold for like 450€ in my country for the 256gb model but at the same time I know what a fail sd8gen1 is with the overheating and that I will miss ufs 4 and ray tracing along with better performance (but I got zero clue if sd8gen2 heats bad as gen1 and 888 did so I need to research that too)
