Dailying xiaomi.eu beta on my 12 pro and have no issues on it. Runs amazingly and games also run perfectly. Just like at any other manufacturer, the higher-end the device is, the better the OS runs on it. You either never tried miui at all or have a 150€ shitter from 2019 that by some magic got miui 14 and runs like shit because 0 hardware performance.

                              Display is the same resolution, size, type, and refresh rate, only 20% higher peak brightness, which is nothing.

                              Base model has the same storage and RAM. But the top end storage was the other thing the other guy mentioned. Though it was absurd that the last one didn't have 512.

                              It can still only shoot in 8K24, and the only slight difference in the cameras appears to be the 1.2x higher optical zoom on the telephoto camera. And if the spec sheet here is accurate, the front camera has been downgraded from 1080p60 to 1080p30 video. But it doesn't seem accurate so idk.

                              Still 120W wired charging, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless.

                              Only a 5% larger battery, but the new one is a bit thicker as a result.

                              The MSRP is lower than its predecessor but it's only gone from absurdly overpriced to a bit less absurdly overpriced.
