I'm not willing to compromise on it. Luckily with enough money I don't have to, plus I get a bunch of other features a nerd like me would appreciate. I personally am excited to buy a Sony phone in a few years. I'm not gonna deal with other brands bs lack of features.

Don't buy expensive smartphone now if you are not afford to have the following:
1. NAS - depend on you how big storage you plan to have.
2. USB DAC adapter. If you still want to use the wired headphone.
3. Wireless headphone or speaker. Just connect through Bluetooth to listen to song or conversation.
Most of the famous smartphone manufacturer won't equip the sd card port, 3.5mm jack, radio or even harmon kardon speaker.

I currently have a 12T Pro and it is NOT what the specs claim to be, the camera is terrible, and the RAM barely holds 3 applications in the background, hopefully this phone is better.

I've bought my current xiaomi for same price.
Waiting about 6-7 months will turn you %60-70 discount.

Get out.I have a certain set of needs that as of right now can only be provided by Sony phones. Technically maybe it's only useful to enter Sony forums. But, phones are something I'm interested in, and I enjoy discussing them. I'm not going to apologize for having needs that don't fit in with the mainstream. I'm also not going to apologize for advocating for a company that is the only one left meeting those needs. I'm not a Sony shill. I'm loyal to what's best for the money. Sadly as of right now, Sony is the only company making phones I could use with my current lifestyle. If Samsung were to release a phone tomorrow with all the features I need, I'd probably buy it.
I don't know how you expect me to advocate for any other brand when I have over 256GB of media on my phone. Most phones that release are unusable to me because they max out at 256. That includes the Realme GT Neo 3, OnePlus 10T, and Samsung Galaxy S22. All decent phones, but I'm not going to buy something that can't even store my media library. I don't have a computer. I have no option but to store my music and photos on my phone. So it's just not an option.

210~230 grams? and the battery is even smaller than on the other 200g+ phones?
I kinda am not a fan of heavy phones, that being said, the ones that i own do weight 200g+.
And is that not the same sensor as Huawei has on Nova 10pro? can't seem to find detailed info on the sensor name and specs.
Hmm, they seem to copy Apple way too much, not only with design, but now similar tech on the display and weight alsost same as the most recent iPone 14pro max, this is just wrong.
Does anyone own already one of these? How is the fingerprint sensor unlocking?
In fact, judging by the specs, ppl will rather go for Google Pixel7 pro, than for this phone, the google phone will not wobble on table bcoz teh camera thingy goes through whole width of the phone.
